DETERMINANTS OF CYBERCRIME AND ITS IMPACT ON E-COMMERCE DEVELOPMENT  IN BANGLADESH

3.3 Research hypothesis
In my paper, the dependent variable is customer satisfaction of telecom service. It is divided into
satisfaction of basic telecom service and satisfaction of value-added telecom service. Three
main independent variables will be focused which are the access of facility of telecom service,
service charge, and service quality. When testing their impacts on customer satisfaction, two
moderators will be taking into consideration, which are the customer involvement and the
switching cost.
Based on these selected variables, nine research hypothesis are proposed about the
relationship between customer satisfaction and its determinants.
H1: Access of facility of telecom service is positively associated with customer satisfaction.
H2: Service charge is negatively associated with customer satisfaction.
H3: Service quality is positively associated with customer satisfaction.
H4: Customer involvement plays a positively moderating role on the relationship between
access of facility of telecom service and customer satisfaction.
H5: Customer involvement plays a positively moderating role on the relationship between
service charge and customer satisfaction.
H6: Customer involvement plays a positively moderating role on the relationship between
service quality and customer satisfaction.
H7: Switching cost plays a positively moderating role on the relationship between access of
facility of telecom service and customer satisfaction.
H8: Switching cost plays a positively moderating role on the relationship between service charge
and customer satisfaction.
H9: Switching cost plays a positively moderating role on the relationship between service quality
and customer satisfaction.
