In both the isotope of carbon,
carbon-12 is stable than carbon-14 istope because of N/P ratio
carbon- 12 has N/P = 6/6 = 1 which is stable.
Carbon-14 has N/P = 8/6 = 1.33 which is less stable because it behaves as radioactive element and goes to decay
