Formula used:

The perimeter of a parallelogram can be obtained as,

P=2l+b.

Here, P is the perimeter, l is length and b is breadth.

The area of the parallelogram can be obtained as,

A=l×h.

here, A is area,  h is the height of the parallelogram.

Calculation: 

Substitute 18 mi for l and 10 mi for b in P=2l+b to obtained the perimeter as,

P=218+10=2×28=56 mi
