Hi, i'm currently in the investments chapter of my accounting book For financial assets at fair value through other comprehensive income - Equity (FVTOCI-equity) i know when the company pays dividends you have to do an entry like this cash 5000 dividend revenue 5000 but my question is when the company pays net income do you also have to do an entry? why or why not?
