"I think that our moral ideas reflect the immediate society around us. This means that the people you are around the most influence your moral ideas. The people around us influence our moral decisions because humans are prone to do or accept what other people do around them. For example, if you surround yourself with criminals you will most likely engage in illegal activities because the people around you are doing it too. I think we are free to think for ourselves in moral matters if the action or idea involves crossing someone's personal ethical boundaries. I think this because the only person who can speak about your personal ethics is yourself and I think you have the right to stand up for yourself in times of ethical decisions."
