ow many transmitters are required to complete full duplex com 4.
In data communication, there are three basic techniques used for communication -
- Simplex
- Half duplex
- Full duplex
In Simplex mode, communication establishes in one direction only (i.e. uni directional) hence it requires 1 transmitter and 1 receiver only.
In half duplex mode, communication takes place in both direction but one at a time, either transmitter to receiver or receiver to transmitter. Hence it uses two transmitter and 2 receiver ecah in pair of one transmitter and 1 receiver at a time.
In full duplex mode, communication takes place in both direction and can be at same time (transmitter to receiver and receiver to transmitter). Hence it uses two transmitter and 2 receiver each in pair of one transmitter and 1 receiver at a time. Generally these 2 transmitter called as intended and interfering transmitters. so that all options except value 2 is wrong.
Hence option 2 is correct.
