I am trying to use a TI 84 calculator on my phone, called G. Calculator, to find standard deviations. But the number it gives me is slightly different than the number my homework question is looking for. For example: I got 8.838, and the correct answer was 8.889. For another example, I put in 7.879, but the correct answer was 7.796. I also spent hours trying to do these by hand, and came up with answers that were slightly wrong as well. What can I do?
