Tide Heigh as a function resembles a sinusoidal function during time between low and high tide.   At one such location on another planet with water, the tide has height of 10.7 feet at 2 AM and then the next low is -1.5 feet at 11AM (9 hours later).   Find a formula for a sinusoidal function  H(t) that gives the height at t hours after midnight.   I used a cosine function for this function, so if anyone can explain this, I would appreciate it.
