Question

We are told that on the map, 1 inch represents 2000 feet in real life.  So if the question says "Points A and B on the map are 4.06 inches apart. How far apart are the points in miles? Use a proportion to decide."

The book has the answer as 0.000064078 miles using the set up 1 mi./x = 63360 in./4.06 (because 1 mi = 63360 inches)

I thought the set up should be 2000 ft/1 in = x ft/4.06 in. to get 1.54 miles (which to me, makes a lot more sense).  Can you help?
