Hi,this is 9 problems and 4 of my answers here were said to be wrong, and i don't know why or which one is the wrong item, It would help a lot if you answer it and so i can compare it with mine. Thanks!!
NOTE: BE CAREFUL WITH SAME PROBLEMS WITH DIFFERENT GIVEN VALUES.

1. Which of the following is normally used for very large discharge flow measurements? (my answer was C)
a. Orifice
b. Nozzle
c. Venturimeter
d. Pilot tube

2. Which of the following is used to increase flow velocity from a pipe? (my answer was A)
a. Nozzle
b. Pilot tube
c. Venturimeter
d. Orifice

3. A garden hose with diamater of 2cm has a flow velocity of 2 m/s. The end nozzle must have a velocity 4 times the velocity at the hose. Determine the nozzle size in terms of diameter in centimeter. (3 decimal places) (my answer was 1cm)

4. A pilot tube was installed in a pipe section and showed a maximum height of 100mm. What is the flow discharge in Liters/Second inside the piep with a diameter of 100mm? (3 decimal places) (my answer was 54.6)

5. The sedimentation tank is due for cleaning and its volume will be drained into half. The tank has a uniform cross-section area of 10m by 10m and currently filled at depth of 6m. If the orifice drainer has a coefficient of 0.90 and diameter of 5 cm, how much time in seconds would it take to reach the desired level for cleaning? (3 decimal places) (my answer was 18,331 seconds)

2. Attached photo for the problem Venturimeter...(my answer was 368.692)
3. Attached photo for the problem Sharp edge orifice... (my answer was -2.43)

Thank you so much!!

A sharp edged orifice with Cc=0.8 and
Cy=0.9 is under a constant head of 3 meters.
Determine the height in meters to which the
jet of water will rise above the orifice.
The answer has a margin of 0.02 from the
exact answer.
2.43

The venturimeter shown has an pipe
diameter of 500mm and narrows to a throat
diameter of 200mm. If the fluid in the
manometer below is mercury with SG=13.6
and h=100mm, determine the water flow
rate in Liters per second. Don't forget to
convert m/s to LPS.
h
The correct answer has a margin 50 from
exact answer.
