• One month prior to the consult, patient presented with one month history of epigastric pain, described as burning, association with dry cough, and occasional belching, and sensation of regurgitation perceived as 'bitter after-taste' The pain worsens after eating and when she is lying flat. ● ● Patient also presented with postprandial fullness. She also wakes up with abdominal pain and would have hoarse voice the following day. The patient noted that symptoms become partially relived by adjusting from a lying to a sitting position and by using KremilS. Patient is an employee at the mall and does not eat on time and would often eat at the nearby canteen or to the vendors outside her work to save money. ● Fond of drinking soft drinks 2 sakto bottles/day and 3-in-1 coffee (3 or more sachets/day) Patient was given Omeprazole 40 mg/capsule ● 30 minutes per breakfast which afforded relief of symptoms.
