You are stopped at a red light, waiting for it to turn green. At the instant the light turns green, a truck in the next lane passes you, traveling at a constant velocity of 15 m/s. One second later, you begin accelerating with a constant a = 6.0 m/s^2. (1) How much time does it take for you to catch up to the other car?

I don't get how I'm supposed to find how much time it will take to catch up from just constant acceleration and constant velocity. Any hints that you can give me?
