Your in-house company has been selected for development a gym system, with many
branches, your team has many carried on meeting with the gym owners to define the main
requirements and what they expected, and the main output from the system, the main
ideas that’re discussed with the owners as follows,
1. There are 7-12 trainers in two shifts for each branch.
2. Each trainee has a unique ID that he can use to train in any branch.
3. The branches should be connected and the ID is incremental.
4. There are 4 programmes the trainee can follow based on what he needs. Build
muscles, lose fat, or Increase the strength, the programmers as follows,
a. Pro Split: train each muscle one time in a week.
b. Upper and Lower: one training for the upper body, and next day for lower
body.
c. Push – Pull – Legs: this program me divide the body into 3 pieces, one day
for push like chest and triceps, the next day is pull like back and biceps, and
the third day is for legs.
d. Full Body Work Out: that’s balance between cardio and muscles.
5. There is in-body device that should be carried each 2 weeks.
6. This system should have a mobile conversation app between trainers and trainees
to follow up on gained and burned calories, spare time, maximum weights,
maximum counts for each weight, and so on.
7. All this info from in-body device, and mobile app should be stored under each user
ID. (Note, you need to decide which DB is proper to store conversation text, and
which technology you will use to analysis and store in structured format).
You need to ensure the quality and consistency are followed during the project lifetime, so
you need to develop the proper project plan, WBS, which methodology you are going to
follow, the technology for each feature, how you are going to integrate all the components,
which tracking software you will use, how to integrate between documents repository
(Confluence), and version tracking for the code (Ex, git).
You are supposed to build all the tasks that you have identified and assign it to the proper
team member with a proper sequences and dates.
What you will be deliver?
Phase 1: (next week)
1. PDF file include WBS (work breakdown structure), which methodology, language
and technology you are going to use and why.
2. The framework for the methodology and what’s included in each phase.
3. How you did the integration between Jira and Trello and other solutions.
Phase 2:
4. MS project from start to end to the project with proper dependency,
5. Jira and Trello accounts with all tasks, issues and assignees. (Add team members
including your TA)
