Thus the mass of the rifle is 3.06kg .

The direction of the bullet’s motion is negative.

Velocity of the bullet is vbullet=3.00×102m/s , initial velocity of the bullet is vbullet=0 and initial velocity of the rifle is vrifle=0 .
