What is the critical path, and why is it important from a project management standpoint?

Expert Solution
Step 1

Critical Path

The critical method in the 1950s was introduced by two concurrent, separate projects in the US. The American chemical corporation Balistic  El DuPont Demours Group.

A critical route was initially established to estimate the time of the mission and help track all of these background activities. The primary route method today is used to identify the key priorities and not to overdue your idea.

In a project schedule, the critical line is the lengthy series of tasks that must be completed in deadline for the project to be completed by the due date. Unless its predecessor operation is complete, an activity on the vital route will not be started; if it is postponed for a day, the whole process will be postponed for a day unless the task accompanying the delayed activity are finished the day before.
