dancer at MHS, it is really important to go to dance concerts because it will help us improve our dancing. The concert I went to was known as SJDanceco, and this concert was located at Santana Row’s park. This event had started at 10 am and had ended around 5 pm. My favorite and my only concert I’ve been to was when I went and watched Lee Brice at the Sioux Empire Fair. I had went and watched with Vicki Loger, Erin Walstead, and Dallas. It was a fun experience since I have never been to a concert. I had no idea what to expect but it was fun. He was pretty good, but low expectations. His voice wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. He was little more oversized in real life which made me mad because he probably uses that weird junk to make him lose about

On March 28th, 2017, I went to Fred Hersch Trio concert with special guest, Anat Cohen. This concert was performed at Schwab auditorium, where I have never been before. All I went to watch the concert was at Eisenhower auditorium. Since it was my first time to Schwab auditorium, I was pretty excited to experience the new atmosphere of the place I have never been to. The concert started with a trio; pianist, bassist and drummer. I was not able to take notes since I did not bring any pens or pencils

The two concerts I have chosen are different in many ways, but the music itself has a lot in common. For the first concert I chose the progressive rock group Dream Theater. I chose the piece “Instrumedley” from their Live at Budokan video released in 2004. This video depicts the band setup on stage in the typical rock concert format. The lighting is bright and multicolored. Unlike most rock concerts, the musicians do not animate themselves to excite the crowd. They rely on the mastery of their instruments

The Peter Sommer Septet was the first concert I have ever attended in my whole life and I did actually enjoy the concert. I liked the concert because all the music had a nice flow and the entire performance was good because the performers engaged the audience by sharing what kind of music they liked to play. The genre of the all the songs that were played consisted of jazz music. The first song of the performance was “Boogie Stop Shuffle” written by Charles Mingus. As the music started to play,

On May 29th at 6:30 PM I was able to attend and perform at the 2018 CYPA Showcase that took place in the Central York Auditorium. It was a very nice experience to sing in front of a musical audience. There were many performances that really stood out to me. One performance that really stood out was a song called “Two Peas in a Pod” from Grey Gardens. This song was performed by Grace Montgomery and Molly Reinhard. Besides the outstanding vocals, their stage presence and choreography was on point.

used recorders and drums in way which I don’t think I’ve heard before. I also think that the arrangement of the songs on the concert was well done, starting off with an upbeat song then transitioning to songs that have a sort of slow fast form to them and concluding with sort of dance music that the audience couldn’t help but move to. The instruments that were used in the concert are what surprised me the most, which included guitars, drums, flute, shakers, recorders, and violin to name a few. To be

For concert essay 2, I have went with an online concert. I have chosen the concert at Alpine Valley, where the Grateful Dead performed July 7, 1989. This is a historic venue for the Grateful Dead and the Deadheads, because this was an atmosphere that always seemed to be far more electric than most. Although the Grateful Dead was a great live act throughout the entire existence of the band, many of the band members admit during the 89 & 90 tours, they were at their best. To open the concert, the

The program consisted of three unique musical pieces performed by the renowned Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Before the concert began, I was able to observe the audience members outside of the entrance doors. Unlike the other Kennesaw State concerts that I attended, there was an extremely large and diverse crowd dressed formally. The doors opened fifteen minutes before the concert began and an usher escorted me to the second row in front of the stage. As the performance began, felt a formal and prestigious

Bumper Jacksons Concert Review Walking towards Mondavi center, I was amazed by how shiny and resplendent she was at night. Having got my free ticket from the ticket office, I was led by well-dressed and kind staff to the Vanderhoef Studio where the concert will start soon. Upon entering the studio, I noticed that rather than rows of seats, there were round tables, on which little candles were dimming. Purple and blue lights were shed from the ceiling. I thought this set created a vibe that was so
