Pressure Distribution around a Symmetric Aerofoil Abstract: The following report is based on an experiment conducted to calculate the lift curve slope for a symmetrical aerofoil subjected to varying angles of attack. Pressure readings were taken at different points on the upper and lower surface of the aerofoil. The report concludes that maximum lift is generated between 12 º -15º, which is also the stall point. It also states that region close to the leading edge contributes most to the lift force
This work presents a system of a non-linear PDEs, which governing the MHD flow of a Homann nanofluid with heat and mass transfer through a porous medium. The problem is solved numerically by making use of the finite difference method. The formulas of the velocity components, temperature and concentration are obtained as functions of the problem physical parameters. The effects of these parameters on the solutions are illustrated numerically and graphically through a set of figures to reinforce the
Team 15: Sohel Jiwani, Huanyu Lin, Lisa Nguyen, Yin Zhu Problem 3 Report Part 1 In the first part of our problem where we design an experiment using fluid flow to mimic and study the loading conditions at the cellular level of a tissue involved in our strength activity which is the squat, we decided to look at the endothelial cells that line the interior surface of the blood vessels along the rectus femoris muscle tissue. To do this, we used the parallel-plate flow chamber device. This device allows

Current spirometers available in the market are expensive and usually
Diminishing fossil fuel resources have prompted scientists and researchers to look for alternative sources of energy. Though several alternative sources of energy have been identified, generation of energy using combustion of fuels still remains the dominant source of energy globally [1]. In search for alternative fuels, biofuels have shown promising results to generate useful energy. However, efficient atomization of some high viscosity biofuels to yield maximum useful energy and minimise emissions
In today 's mind boggling business environment, the field of data analytics is developing in acknowledgment and significance (Grant and Jordan, 2015). It is assuming a basic part as a basic leadership resource for officials, particularly those overseeing expansive organizations. Notwithstanding the development in significance of Planned/Analytical and its prospects for the future, other focal subjects emerged, incorporating the differed routes in which Planned/Analytical is organized and oversaw

How is the character of Mrs Hayward developed throughout the opening 3 chapter of Frayn’s ‘Spies’? Mrs Hayward is a contradictory character who is established through Stephen’s fragmented memory to be both a character of smiling perfection and a broken woman, sitting in the dust weeping. She is both the embodiment of a perfect British wartime wife and a character of suspicion; a spy, a traitor, the epitome of deceit and the focus of two young boys’ overzealous imagination. When the reader
DEN 302 Applied Aerodynamics SURFACE PRESSURE MEASUREMENTS ON AN AEROFOIL IN TRANSONIC FLOW Abstract The objective of this exercise is to measure the pressure distribution across the surface on an aerofoil in a wind tunnel. The aerofoil is tested under several different Mach numbers from subsonic to supercritical. The purpose of measuring the pressure distributions is to assess the validity of the Prandtl-Glauert law and to discuss the changing chracteristics of the flow as the Mach number increases
