The government meeting I attended was the Whittier City Council Meeting on April 26th. I found out about the meeting on the Whittier city's website. The meetings are open to any citizen who wants to participate and be informed about what is going on in the city. The Mayor of Whittier is Fernando Dutra. Commission Meeting The meeting I attended started out completely different from what I expected. Bill Terry and another gentleman sat in front of the crowd expressing how the meeting would have no agenda. They explained, mostly to the Collegedale Academy students, that this was a rare occurrence from what normally takes place in a regular commission meeting. So I attended the AA (alcoholic anonymous) meeting of a group called Choices Group from the KCB club on November 13th, 2015 at 2:30 PM. This AA meeting was held at the location of 5715 W.
