A $3,000 scholarship will make a difference because it will help academically. Getting a scholarship is like getting a great discount for education, but it also helps with your future. I say this because getting a college degree will help in the long run and help with the career you want to pursue in the future. College is important and getting a scholarship is just as important. Even though you get a job to help pay for college and not get into much debt getting a scholarship will help with getting debt free.. A scholarship can make a big difference in how much time and resources you will have during college to spend on enhancing your experience and knowledge through service-learning, volunteer opportunities and internships.
If I am award the funds I plan on using it to help pay for the textbooks I need in different courses. Textbooks can be very expensive, and I have spent on average $900 dollars this year on textbooks. This scholarship would help lift another financial burden off my shoulders. I would also use the funds to help pay back my student loans. My goal is to finish college debt free and this scholarship would help me to achieve that goal. If I am award the scholarship all the funds will be used towards my
I believe that I should receive a scholarship, because it would give me something else I should fight for and strive to get. It will give me something to challenge myself with. I feel like if I work hard and get these scholarships, it can show people that as long as you work hard for what you want, there is a high chance that you will achieve it. I feel like if I was given a scholarship it would help me get really far in collage life without worry about paying off loans.
This quote explains that the suggested salaries would not cover everything for their college life, such as books and board. Furthermore, a scholarship provides the choice to obtain a bachelor 's degree in their selected subject, giving them the opportunity and knowledge to get a better job in the future.
This scholarship is very important to me in many ways. This scholarship will help me physically and emotionally if I receive money. For instance, it will make me stress less about how I am going to be able to pay for my tuition and fees and not have debt. Also, it will give me a way to purchase my books for the classes I will take.Since I will not receive financial aid I will have to apply for more scholarships. I plan to go to Northwest Shoals to be able to get my basics done and further my education and transfer to Wallace State to be able to become an Occupational Therapist it has always been a desire to work with many people and help someone out if they needed it. Some of my college goals is to be able to maintain a high GPA and do the
I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because I have great leadership and many other great characteristics. I helped raise awareness of obesity in our county to help in getting our percentage back down. I mentored younger children that came from low-wage families on why it was so important to eat right and get an adequate amount of activities, as well as rest each and every day. I did this by using the "GO, SLOW, WHOA" program to make it easier for kids to understand what foods are "go" foods which you can eat as much as you want, which foods are "slow" foods which are foods you should only eat every now and then, and which food is "whoa" foods which you should try to avoid this foods when ever possible. After we presented our presentation
There are many reasons as to why the Trailblazer Collegiate Academy Scholarship is necessary for my education. Simply put, my mom’s income isn’t enough to support us financially and pay for my tuition. I have a part time job to cover some of my expenses like my dual-credit but I don’t make enough to pay my school bills and save for my future. With this scholarship, I will be able to put back funds for when I graduate high school, get my bachelor’s degree, and later, my law degree.
I have the opportunity to go get a degree, but of course that comes with a financial burden. I'm not a D1 football player who holds a full ride scholarship. Although I have received some scholarship money to help offset the cost, I am still left paying almost 16,000 out of pocket. We are not talking loans here, we are talking cash out of pocket. That number makes my mom very uncomfortable especially because she is a single parent. She's left being responsible for that debt. She often finds herself worrying about this cost. She wants me to be able to finish college at all costs, but she worries that the price will become a huge burden, and I won't be able to stay at Robert Morris the whole time. I hate that my mom has the weight of the world
I hope to be able to participate in research and continue to volunteer through clubs and at hospitals. Attending The Ohio State University will better prepare me to be a competitive and well rounded applicant for medical school because of the prestigious professors who give students the tools and opportunities they need to achieve their goals. Receiving a scholarship would greatly impact my life because it would allow me to further my education and would help me extend my learning experience at the university. If I received a scholarship, I would have more time to participate in research, volunteer at hospitals, and continue service projects with multiple clubs like Circle K and other honor
As many other students who attend Jefferson R-7, I am looking to further my education past high school. I am planning to attend Fontbonne University next fall and although I am very excited about this next chapter in my life, there are also some worries. As everyone is aware, college is not cheap and a degree costs thousands of dollars. This scholarship would have a massive impact on me financially. It would help chip away at the cost of tuition and help me focus more on my education rather than my student debt. I feel that this scholarship would help lift some of the financial stress placed on me due to tuition. I would be less worried about how many I owe and more focused on the task at hand. Another reason this scholarship would be a
The Coastal Bend College Endowed Scholarship Application will be the second scholarship I have applied for because I didn't think about college until my second semester of my senior year when a coach said “you’d be perfect for this job”. After I heard that statement I started looking into studying kinesiology and asking questions about their experiences. Ever since then I have been wanting to become what I think of them, which is a hero. I want to help kids achieve their goals and become someone important. I understand coaches do not get paid a fair amount, but I am willing to accept this fact. To me it is about graduating college and doing something I know I will enjoy for the rest of my life.
scholarship money would help me pay for college, I would rather talk about how much of an
My family, on both my parents’ side, has a long and proud tradition of service in the armed forces. It is a tradition I grew up in and one I have long looked forward to continuing. Recognizing the greatness of our country, the dedication, and sacrifices made throughout our history in preserving our freedoms and values, I set a goal from a very young age that I would follow in the footsteps of those in my family before me. My goals and dreams have always been to serve as an aviator with the U.S. Marine Corps and with this in mind I strongly desire to obtain a NROTC scholarship.
A West Chester foundation scholarship is beneficial to me in many ways. A West Chester scholarship will not only help me with my financial needs but also push me to work harder because I will be 1 of many to receive a scholarship and not everyone will be able to experience this. I will have to work much harder, to pay off in work/studies what was given to me by a person(s) who cared enough about my education, as much as I do. A scholarship will mean a lot to me, because having a scholarship opens up many doors for you. For example, you could put on a resume that you have received a great amount of money due to a college scholarship and that could possibly impress what could be your future employer. That would be a wonderful addition to a resume
I am so excited about attending SCTCC next year for the Associates Degree in CNC/Advanced manufacturing. The $2500 scholarship would benefit me greatly as I do not qualify for traditional aid, but also do not have parents who can afford to pay very much for my college costs. When attending SCTCC, I want to live near campus rather than commute because I believe it will help me be successful in my program if I do not have to worry about driving. Living near campus increases my costs and the scholarship for attending SCTCC would help me balance that out. I have a part time job, but do not have enough money saved for college, but am saving as much as I can while also keeping my grade level high. I am also a very positive person with a strong work
Being a scholarship recipient would be fantastic, it would allow me to finish my degree without a heavy loan debt. It would allow me to continue my education, not only while in college, but after graduation as well. Education is the key, receiving a scholarship would allow me to continue that endless journey. It would allow me to not only help myself, but one day help others with a well-thought-out plan of logically using foods. Me becoming a recipient would allow me to further my education and ultimately reach my goals.
