I found the signing statements the most interesting in Chapter Seven. A signing statement is an announcement made by the president at the time of signing a bill into law. Something I found particularly interesting in the “Mya Renaissance” video was the architecture that the Mayans created. The structures that they built were beautiful. The structures were the largest structures outside ancient Egypt at the time. It amazes me that they can build structures so vast without the equipment that we have today.
