In a little town in New Jersey, laughter filled throughout the house, 2 sisters playing patty cake together unable to play any other game since they've been conjoined at the stomach since their birth. Their names are Sydney and Sonal, the only way to tell the 2 apart is that one wears glasses and that is Sonal and Sydney doesn't. They’ve always been each other's best friend, one day they made a promise to each other.
“We’ll always be together and never ever separate,” Sonal said
Sydney replied with a bright face “ Forever and forever for our whole life, and nothing can break us apart promise me Sonal” and with that the 2 sisters shook hands, not knowing what lies ahead for them in the distant future.

Karan liked the girls because of their warm personality, but for Karan, he was especially fond of Sydney. Unfortunately, Sonal really liked Karan and wanted him all for herself, she noticed Sydney and Karan becoming closer and seeing this drove her with mad jealousy. Today was the day that Karan was finally coming home from London and he told Sydney to come to meet him at the airport. Sydney was pleading for Sonal to go with her as she is unable to move without her, but Sonal refused as she does not want the 2 to become any closer than they already are. Sydney begged and pleaded with Sonal to go, but she wouldn't budge. On that day Sydney decided that she would get an operation to separate their bodies. Unfortunately, there was a mishap in the operation causing Sonal to lose her life. Years later Sydney and Karan got married and they were there enjoying their time together until one day they got a phone call saying that Sydney's mother had an accident causing them to go back to her childhood home. Sydney always felt guilty about her sister's death and she kept on blaming herself for her death, but when she
"A plane just crashed right into one of the Twin Towers!" Someone yelled. People were screaming because they were on fire. Others were fleeing for their life, but all I could do was stare in awe at the smoking hole in one of the biggest towers in New York. September 11, 2001, one of the most devastating days for me, and for all of America.
The morning of 9/11 I wasn’t going to go to work because I had an allergy appointment,
September 9th started like any other day, but it didn’t take long before it was the strangest day I’d had in awhile. I came to school at 7 am since it was early in the year, and I still was adjusting to my new classes and new students. The new year was one I was especially looking forward to. I had just won the Teacher of the Year award after only my third year and my students and I all created a bond.
It was a sunny day here in New Jersey, I was getting ready to go see the Twin towers memorial the next day."Julie! Come down here please we need to talk!"said my mother.
Her voice was telling me to stay calm, this is normal, everyone goes through this. But I knew that something was wrong, it stung and I was not supposed to feel anything. Every kid gets a contact in their eye when they turned 11, today was my 11th birthday. I felt them touch my eye, she told me that the contact was in, and my world went dark……
“Don’t look down” the wind whispers tenderly as it blows through my golden trusses. Trifling detailed fragments of snow fall from the skies above, meeting the horizon. They are the calmness in this storm. My storm. The jagged icy glaciers, sharp as a knife, smooth as silk, tower overhead. Every breath I take is a battle, every thought is a war and every step is one closer to the end.
September 11, 2001 began as any ordinary day for Elvia Hogan as she left her home and headed for work. She recalled the sun shining and the sky a bright blue as she entered the counseling office at Hunter High School. As she approached her desk, she opened her computer to find the unbelievable image of an airplane in the top of one of the World Trade Center buildings. Phones were ringing, as the counselors began watching the news to follow what was happening when suddenly, a second plane flew into the neighboring tower.
Scarlett awoke to the sound of her alarm and a pounding at the door, "Turn that blasted thing off!" her aunt Beatrice bellowed from the other side. Groggily, Scarlett sat up and groped around her side table for the alarm clock. She shut it off and sat in place for a few seconds to collect her bearings. Scarlett swayed slightly as she stood from the bed and walked slowly towards her door, noting the fact that her aunt was gone, she headed to the bathroom. Doing routine things like; peeing, brushing her teeth, and combing her hair into two pigtails at the sides of her head. She then headed back to her room and dressed for school in her white tank top and red hoodie. Grabbing her ipod, headphones, and school bag she sat down at the front door
Nothing I did worked. His skin, so close, so warm against my own, did it distract me? Was that it? I had done my best to free myself from the darkness he had encompassed around me, but my efforts did next to nothing in getting him away. He evaded it all. I was floundering amidst my own failure, but he was still there, still overshadowing me.
When 9/11/2001 occurred I was sitting in the lunch room at Good Year Elementary School in Brunswick Georgia eating lunch. My classmates and I was talking normally like we always did until one of the lunch monitors told us to be quiet. I didn’t know exactly what was going on at the time. I just knew something serious had just happened. One of my teachers told the class that a plane had hit the Twin Towers. The teachers then turn on the television as all of us watch not exactly understanding what had happen or what the cause of it was. I remember some of the teacher crying while others got on their cells phones trying to contract their families in New York City, but the lines was so busy. That whole day I remember just sitting in class watching
True story - my grandmother said this to me when revealing that my mother had an affair with her step father (grandmother's second husband) -"It ain't abuse if you are on top". My mother told everyone the narrative that she was sexually abused by her step father. I asked my grandmother about this horrible thing and was promptly set straight about the reality. My grandmother walked in on her daughter and husband with the daughter on
Claire stared in awe at the crystal clear water rushing down. She had been to this land many times, but this was the first time she had ever seen this beautiful waterfall. As Claire stood there watching the water, a giant sky blue dragon soared in front of the waterfall. She looked down at her watch, even though when she was in this world time froze in the regular world. Slowly, she turned to walk back to reality. As she slipped the golden key into the keyhole, the portal opened. Claire walked back into reality and set the beautiful ancient key into her desk drawer.
September 11, 2001, changed me, I remember it was a Tuesday morning I put my sons Frank and Brandon on the school bus. I remember looking up at the sky thinking what a perfectly gorgeous weather day it was. The large fluffy white clouds made the shade of the blue sky even more deep and brilliant.
Brett and Devyn first met in middle school in the 7th grade and from then on went to school together all the way up to their Senior year of high school. They had been really good friends up to this point, but Brett had a crush on Devyn for years. During football season, they really became close. One Friday night in November, it was really cold at the game. They had been hanging out all night with each other and their friends. Brett, being the gentleman that he was, was worried that she was cold and insisted on her wearing his jacket to stay warm. In the last quarter, this guy kept hitting on Devyn. She was not interested, but he was very persistent. Brett came over to her, grabbed her hand and acted like her boyfriend so that the guy would
Suena was walking home and she felt like she was being followed, but she thought it was because of the horror movie she watched the night before. It was about a twenty minute walk for Surena to get home and she often enjoyed but that day she didn’t enjoy it. When she got home there was a note on her fridge from her mother saying she’ll be back in a couple of hours and that there was leftovers in the fridge. She still had that icky feeling that someone was watching her, she kept saying in her head that it was just the horror movie scaring her. Her dog Belle was eating the couch again, when her mom got home she’d be mad. Surena went up stairs to her bedroom and forgot to lock the door that day, when her mother warned her many times before to
