Full house is an American sitcom television series that’s about a widowed father named, Danny Tanner, his brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis, and his best friend Joey Gladstone, who help Danny raise his three children, D.J, Stephanie, and Michelle. Full House came out around the late 1980s, unfortunately, due to the the increasing costs of producing the show the series was cancelled on May 23, 1995. As a young child, Full House may have seemed as your ordinary American sitcom that is about love, friendship, and family. But that is not the case in this show, as young adults and re-watching the show again, you may stumble upon the deeper meaning and messages behind the show that is significant to society today. Such as, Full house breaks gender stereotypes and it has strong, real, and important life lessons for children.

On May 2, 2012, the National Football League lost one of its elite players to suicide: Junior Seau. Seau played for the Chargers, Dolphins, and the Patriots during his professional football career and was a 12-time Pro Bowler before retiring in 2009. Three years after his retirement however, Seau committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest with a gun. This greatly shocked the football world and its image of Junior Seau as a person, but it soon realized the cause for his action. The 80s was filled with new advancements in television broadcasting sports for women and many other important historical events.

I love to tell stories about my childhood. Looking back now, through all of my life’s experiences, it almost feels like I was living in a fairy tale. The 80's were life changing years in music history. They were called the “decade of excess” by some and the way people could enjoy music was forever altered. The 80’s brought music to life with stunning displays of special effects ranging from anything fireworks being blasted off at concerts to using computers to alter the sounds of instruments to make new sounds for people to enjoy. People could now watch music instead of just listening to it.

I feel at age 20 you would feel more pressed for time to do all of the things that you wanted to do with your life. Many 20 year olds are usually in college starting their careers and lives, why would they want to be worrying about something that would not possibly happen until 50 years later? They would live there mid-life crises at a much younger age knowing that they have a predetermined end. I just feel that they would be living rushed lives in a sense because they know they have limited time, where as if you did not know when your life would begin to deteriorate you might experience life at a more steady pace.

In most states, teachers must undergo testing and other rigorous certification requirements, but they are given the same consideration or status as beginning professionals in other areas. Although attractive incentives are offered, the compensation does not compare to the long hours of work and schooling required for a teaching career.

The television show Friends, which aired in 1994, is still one of the most watched sitcoms in history. Even though the show ended in 2004, reruns still play on T.V and Netflix has even added the show to its database because of its undying popularity. Even a bit older than Friends, Full House aired its first episode in 1987 and its last in 1995. This shows popularity and influence prompted a continuation of the show, Fuller House, that is currently in production more than twenty years later. Both sitcoms of Friends and Full House demonstrate how the sitcom genre, along with the sub-genres associated with it has had and continues to have a tremendous influence on pop culture.
