Daniel Webster was born on January 18, 1782 in Salisbury, New Hampshire and died on October 24, 1852. His family was very large, his parents were Abigal and Ebenezer Webster, and he had nine siblings. Webster attended Phillips Exeter Academy, which was a preparatory school in New Hampshire. After that he attended Dartmouth College, which he later graduated and went into being a lawyer. He was known for being an American senator and statesman during the second party system. He was the spokesman for American nationalism and made him a key Whig leader. He was a spokesman for: modernization, banking, and industry but not for the common people.
