Before picking your career as an engineer you could job shadow and see what you are really getting yourself into or else you might not like it and change in college. If you don't like building or being creative to solve problems engineering is not for you. You can all so prepare yourself buy being in clubs this involved in clubs that involve science and math like science club and or chess club. Those are some of the things you can do to get yourself ready for college.(Aerospace Engineering)

I am very much interested in the field of engineering and hope to pursue a career in engineering sometime in the future. Although I haven’t decided which branch of engineering I want to pursue yet, my experiences as an engineering magnet student at Wheaton High school and the different engineering programs I am a part of have ignited within me a passion for engineering.

The future; after high school, after college, the future is a later time period that will happen in one’s life. For my future I plan to attend college and later become an engineer. College is one of the best choices available for high school graduates to ensure a successful future. Colleges offer specialized learning that when attended can open many opportunities. Two colleges I may attend after high school are Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) or California Institute of Technology (Caltech). After college I plan to choose a career in the field of engineering. Two career possibilities are Aerospace Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. By researching these two universities and two possible careers, I have learned about the many possibilities that lie ahead for my future.
In the large world of technology, there are countless nations competing to be at the top and to remain there, the leaders in technological advancement must be supported by Americans. In Braun's article, he stresses the concern for investing in Aerospace technology, joining many economic topics and conversations. He believes that this side investment will contribute to our nation's economy through development and over time. Due to the influence of creating new technology, a byproduct of these advancements is the creation of high-tech jobs, requiring educated people to help out but also providing the opportunity of holding a job. Not to mention also creating a demand for employers that are seeking employees and a way to top their
Next year, I plan to major in Computer Engineering and begin a career helping make the world a better place through innovative technology. I realized my talents for math and sciences during freshman year of high school, and remember the exact moment I knew engineering was meant for me. While exploring the engineering shop at my vocational technical high school, the teacher showed my class a video of MIT students designing prosthetic limbs for amputees. It was then that I realized I could use my love of math and science to really help people.

Every high school student becomes anxious when waiting for that day to graduate but as graduation gets closer we become more worried on what we will do next and how we will pursue our career out there in the real world. Senior year is about applying to any colleges or universities that will judge you based on how you did throughout your high school years. In addition, the career i'm going to pursue when I graduate and leave high school is in the criminology and criminal justice studies. With a bachelor in criminology and criminal justice I have a variety of jobs I can pick out of. My first choice is to become a customs and border protection officer because I want to protect what enters the U.S. and to keep terrorist from entering. My second
As soon as students begin their high school careers, colleges are looking for who will meet the requirements set to be accepted into college. Tulsa Community College specifically requires current high school students to make a certain score on each section of the ACT so they may take college courses while still in high school. For that reason, I took the ACT for the first time just after my sophomore year, hoping to score high enough for concurrent enrollment. Being a concurrent student allows me to receive college credit so that I may have more time for sports or extracurricular activities when I am an actual college student. My main goal is to major in music then have a career in the music industry. The music industry is a difficult career
In Chapter 3, Mike Rose attends Loyola University to pursue a career in teaching. At first, he is placed into remedial classes because of his previous grades in high school. His high school teacher, Mr. MacFarland, wants Rose to test his capabilities in Loyola’s basic classes to ensure that he will be able to keep up with everyone else. Unfortunately, Rose struggles to pass his classes during his first year in Loyola. Averaging around a C in all of his classes, it seemed grim that Rose would be able to keep pursuing his teaching career. The causation for his endeavor is due to his inadequate study habits he developed in high school; he was able to get through high school by only engaging in subjects that he was committed to. Fortunately enough,
Through out my high school career I never took my education seriously. For most of the four years it was a big blur. I’m not quite sure if it was because of me or if I found myself blaming my surroundings or teachers for my lack of focus and strive to learn. A failure can mean different things to everyone else. Maybe there’s just different types or categories of failures. These failures are meant to teach us something, or motivate us to simply not make these mistakes again.
The aviation industry, due to its fast paced and extremely performance oriented nature, is an ideal example of how proper organizational behavior lends to the growth, and ultimate success of a company. Often, mitigating operational hurdles and constraints becomes the focus of leadership in this industry as problems such as financial limitations continually arise. This unfortunately can result in employers neglecting the most essential part of their company, the employees. The ability for an employer to recognize and resolve threats to employee job satisfaction and security, conquer lack of employee motivation, and proactively negotiate internal and external conflict allows for a company to thrive.
In our ever evolving society we seem to be having a greater affinity to technical jobs and careers more integrated with our technology. It appears that we are heading into a world of Science, Technology , Engineering, and Mathematics or STEM. The STEM fields that are rapidly increasing relate to jobs that deal quite a bit with our newer technology and the creation and development of new and more efficient technologies. To compliment this increase in STEM careers, we need to focus our time, energy, and most of all capital on the lackluster STEM program in our school systems.
