There are countless occupations in the world and many of which require a high level of skill and knowledge. In order to become a professional in any field, someone would have to spend a large amount of time being able to learn the tasks and skills needed for that specific occupation. One specific occupation that requires having the expertise of many skills is a Chemist. A chemist is a scientist who specializes in using extensive research and experiments to improve manufactured products and even create new goods. A chemist is required to obtain a bachelor's degree in the specialized field that they wish to pursue, such as: analytical, physical, and synthetic. There are many tools a chemist must be able to use in their day to day tasks, tools such as a benchtop centrifuge, calorimeters, lasers, and spectrometers. Activities a chemist may have to perform …show more content…
Also, in order to be able to succeed in the field of chemistry, a chemist must be able to perform some advanced tasks in the computers and electronics domain, with the pace in which technology is advancing within the scientific field there is little room to be left in the technological knowledge of any potential chemist that aspires to be successful. A successful chemist is often the one which is more skillful, the more skills that are possessed by a chemist the better they are likely to perform. Just to list a few skills that are required in order for someone to be able to become a successful chemist, a chemist must be able to identify complex problems and review related information in order to develop an in-depth understanding of potential solutions, also be able to use various scientific rules and methods to be able to come to a solution to various
4. Chemistry can be useful in explaining the natural world, preparing people for career opportunities and producing informed citizens.
Chemistry relates to everything we touch, see, smell, hear, and taste because atoms make up everything in the universe. Chemistry influences so much in our everyday lives that it is hard to think of an activity that does not involve a chemical process in some way. The science also plays a major role in the human body. Our bodies are made up of chemicals, in fact almost 96% of our body mass is made up of four different elements: hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen. Besides the physical way I am affected by elements, chemistry also majorly affects me in my line of work as a certified nursing assistant. As a certified nursing assistant I work in a nursing home and

Chez as known as Ghost boy is a superhero of his birth city called Midox. He is tall and strong. He has an ability to disappear and move just like an ghost. But he is also smart because he invented some tools to make him even faster and stronger.
Upon taking chemistry, I realized that I found the major I was meant to take. From the first day of class to the last day of class, I remember thinking how great it would be to pursue a career in chemistry. Knowing that I found my intended major, I began the quest to answer one of the many questions I had pertaining the major. My only concern was what can a Chemistry major do for me.
I would like to thank you and OTEN for supporting and helping me improve from my past. Thank you for the time you spent explaining it all to me. Also, thank you for not punishing me more harshly. I would like to apologize for the inconveniences on my last assignments. I should never have asked the tutoring Centre for help in the physics and my sister for help in my chemistry. The HSC Chemistry Assignment 1 that I have submitted was before we sat down together and you advised and explained to me how serious the consequences could be. From that moment onwards I realized that it would have been better proposed for me to have written my own solutions and taken a bad grade than to have tried to get help in order to get a good grade.
Apremilast (CC-10004) is an oral phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitor. As the dominant phosphodiesterase expressed in immune cells, phosphodiesterase 4 degrades cyclic AMP into AMP. Phosphodiesterase 4 inhibition elevates intracellular cAMP, which can down-regulate the inflammatory responses via mechanisms including inhibiting inflammatory cytokine expression and increasing anti-inflammatory mediator expression.
“Chemical Engineering is not an easy major (at all), but if you can make it through to graduation day, you 'll be in demand” (“Chemical Engineering”). A chemical engineer converts substances at tremendous sizes to form new substances or energy for the overall advancement of human life ("What Is Chemical Engineering?"). I have chosen chemical engineering as my future career because the way things are made has always intrigued me. I yearn to comprehend the finite structure of the products we use in our day to day lives. Of course, knowing the career I would like to study is not enough. I must understand what type of schooling and skills will be required, the income and future of this career, along with the experience and attitude I will need to succeed in this field.
Chemical Changes: Water to Carbonated water, it could impact on the environment because if extra carbon dioxide gets out of the Coca Cola it could increase the effect of Greenhouse gas and Greenhouse gas could impact global warming which is a BIG problem to the environment and Sunlight that’s coming from the Sun to Earth will escape into space. And also “Carbonated or Carbon” is Carbon Dioxide gas pressure so the water has carbon dioxide gas pressure in it to turn it into carbonated water. Another Chemical change is if you mixed the Coca Cola with something else it’s gonna change the Coca Cola and it’s gonna be mix with whatever you mixed it with. When you mix the Coca Cola, it changes the compound of the Coca Cola with turns the Coca Cola
Even though I have no knowledge or understand of chemistry beforehand, however, I like chemistry as much as math. Is was a hard to understand at first, but as time go by and using my study system in math I apply it to chemistry also. With more practice and dedicated my time to study, I gradually understand chemistry more and when I do is was fun. Especially lab work as a way of learning. Labs include three parts: the write-up, the process of lab and developing a conclusion, which is the combination of analysis and math process. Time in the lab brings me so much fascinating phenomenon and fun knowledge. I also enjoy the math part of the process in figure out the solution to the lab
Chemical changes happen everywhere, all day, everyday. Chemical changes happen when food is being digested, during photosynthesis, when bread becomes toast, even when a candle is burning and many more occasions you would not think of. A chemical change is the ability of a substance to undergo a chemical reaction and form a new substance. For example, imagine that there is a 7-inch tall cylindrically-shaped candle, the second it is lit the change starts. That change causes steam, carbon dioxide and heat to be released from the candle. As the candle burns and these substances are being released the candle is becoming shorter and shorter. Most, if not all, chemical changes can not be returned to their original state. This actually
There are so many opportunities when obtaining a degree in Biochemistry. People have the option of working in crime labs and crime sciences, along with researching while getting paid to do it, or even teach either Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry. People need to be able to solve any problem that occurs. It is essential for people to communicate otherwise it could cause chaos. This is why people who are majoring in science need to have qualities of a scientist, in order to make a better society in the scientific
Chemistry has been called the science of what things are. Its intent is the exploration of the nature of the materials that fabricate our physical environment, why they hold the different properties that depict them, how their atomic structure may be fathomed, and how they may be manipulated and changed.
Nowadays, people here in this world are using science in their everyday lives. When you fry a fish, there’s a science. When you wash your clothes, there’s a science behind it. Everything is science. There are different branches of science. Including Biology, Botany, Zoology, and many more. But one of the most used in everyday life in the branches of science is the CHEMISTRY. It is a branch of physical science that deals with composition, structure, properties and changes of matter. Chemistry is the one who is responsible for photosynthesis (plants making food for their own). But Consumer chemistry is the one that deals with humans in our everyday lives. Consumer Chemistry is the branch of Chemistry that makes consumable products. Consumer chemistry deals with food, cosmetics, fertilizers
A Chemical Engineer has problems that are unseen because of the rewarding pay scale and job offers. Assisting the aid of every living creative survive in some way daily is not always relaxing or satisfying. The career becomes challenging for a chemical engineer to preserve foods for ones eating habits, fuel for a variable of cars and prepare the compounds of medicine for man and animals. These are only a few problems that chemical engineers face. Chemical Engineers are ultimately a helpful career for society, yet research has shown that there is difficulty within how to find employment, the tedious education programs, and the working conditions.
