The movie I watched is Lincoln. This movie is about President Abraham Lincoln’s struggles to free all slaves permanently before the Civil War ended. The movie is set in 1865, just after Lincoln was reelected. Lincoln is faced with a moral dilemma. His goal is to pass the amendment to ban slavery forever, but if the war ends before he can do this he’ll never get the opportunity. As he pushes to get the votes he needs to secure the bills passing a peace offer is brought forth by the Confederates. Lincoln must now decide to either end the war now and save thousands of lives or to delay the end of the war and have the chance to save not only current lives but also future lives from a life of slavery.

The reason behind why I picked the movie “Snow on Tha Bluff” to be my culture is because I wanted to understand and watch how their lifestyle of living and what they had to do in their culture. Also, I wanted to understand what was their reason why they wanted to hurt each other, sell drugs, and wanted to stay in the living lifestyle that they were in.

The people traveling together are a diverse group of people. All of them have the specific motivation for going, but they all share the same goal reaching to Lordsburg. The characters are Dallas who’s a prostitute, Mrs. Lucy Mallory who is the wife of the Army Cavalry officer, Ellsworth Henry Gatewood who is a banker, Hatfield who is a gambler, Samuel Peacock who is whiskey salesman, Doc Josiah Boone who is a alcoholic doctor, Buck Rickabaugh who is a stage driver, Marshal Curley Wilcox who is a marshal riding shotgun, and Ringo Kid who is an escaped outlaw.
