One day a dad his daughter and her brother went shopping to Walmart. The dad bought a new tv, and it was very shiny when they got to the cash register he realized he did not have enough money. He had saved five fake one hundred dollar bills from the Fun Fair, so he pulled them out and said: “I am buying this tv it says it is for five one hundred dollar bills and no tax included.” The register said, “are you sure?” He looked and said your right, but the dad carried white out with him everywhere he went he whited out the tax word that said tax included very expensive tv. So the dad and his children quickly carried out the tv when the cash register scanned and said: “here you go have a nice day!” The dad said back “we will thank you.” They carefully
A little over two years ago, I finally saved up enough money from working part-time to afford a new computer. Before that, I had the computer my parents got me for my 16th birthday, which was around 3 years old then. The computer they got me wasn’t the best, but of course it was better than nothing and got the job done. I’m definitely very appreciative of that. Now, the computer I got myself I didn’t personally build, but I used a website called CyberpowerPC to choose all of the hardware and pre-installed software myself. I was still fairly new to that sort of thing then, so I had to use Google a lot to research all of the different hardware options: what they meant, what the differences were, and so on. The parts I chose
Day 1: Today was interesting, I got to sit with Henry at Lunch which was awesome! I could be wrong but I think Henry has a crush on me which is probably why he tells me to go away all the time because he can't handle himself around this sexy body. Other than that life pretty sweet! Also wanna
I knew Landon was up to something when he woke me up with breakfast in bed, which, in my opinion, was a lovely way to wake up.
My friend JJ is really funny. Every time I’m sad he always makes me laugh. The funniest thing he does is when he dances. It may look weird when you first see it, but then after a while it becomes funny.
On Saturday the third I hear my alarm beeping at six o’clock In the morning.
I watched as the first orange hued rays of the sunrise wash over the dark and mysterious sky. The small glow travels across the wild blue yonder and starts to brighten up the deepest parts of the skyline and the town. Under the radiating sky there was no place of hiding, the light would finally hit you. This bright light brought the new day in, but it also brought dread to some.
Hello. I am very excited for English this year. I love reading because it is an interesting way to see how other people deal with situations and I love entering the character's world and seeing how others live. I also like speaking in front of audiences and creating some kind of project after a unit. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my friends, camping with my family, and I love swimming. I didn’t have a very interesting summer. For the first half of the summer I had a broken fibula and for the second half of the summer, I had a shattered heel. In my free time I read lots of books; Firefly Lane, The Forgotten Garden, The Selection series, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, Etc. I also went to all of my teammates swim competitions to cheer them
I was 6 years old when the first semi-significant event happened in my life. The story isn’t tragic or entertaining but a grade’s a grade. The day started quite early, getting dressed would take around an hour when you had 4 children in grade school with a TV in the living room. I don’t recall breakfast or any of this clearly anyways. The drive was long and the roads we turned on were a blur on my mind. Today was the first day of school; I hadn’t actually really heard much about it despite having 3 older brothers. I did however biologically know it would be awful. I cried in my ignorant youth, pleading, begging, negotiating my way out of this horrible place I had never been and never wanted to be. Alas, I was pushing an unmovable mountain,
worried. What if bandits attack us?I,mean we are bringing a LOT of gold. And we will have to travel a good 600 miles, bandits will probably
I was just on my way home from school when it all began. I had decided to grab some lunch at McDonalds on the way home when I noticed the most peculiar sights. There were some bite marks on the sign, there was nobody working the register, and I even saw a kid outside eating the apples from his meal! “One burger and fries please,” I said through the speaker. There was silence on the other end. “Hello? Hmm must not be open,” I said as I drove away. Almost like magic, I bluntly looked through the window of the drive thru and saw something you wouldn’t believe even if it was right there in front of you! A reindeer! I saw it as plain as day! It was licking the end of a soda machine nozzle. I didn’t see an employee in
In my search around the nearby parts of the building, I find something that brings back a heavy, sickening wave of memories.
"When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, 'Come' And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword" (Revelation 6:3-4) That was the quote my brother always said, he attributed it to our father. I never understood why until I turned ten, that was when the verse was burned in the back of my mind for the rest of my life.
"Tanner, i'm honestly not in the mood today to do this, so can you please just get my stuff and get out of my seat?"
“Bye Alex, be safe, we’ll see you in one day.” Mom said. We were spending Christmas with my sister this year at her apartment in California. I was leaving on a plane today and my parents were leaving tomorrow. We couldn’t get three seats on a plane at the same time. I always loved seeing my sister and her apartment it was always so nice there. I got on the plane and I found my seat right away I was in the middle of a three seater with two young girls on either side of me. They were both sleeping and I thought I liked my seat, but it dawned on me that two six year old girls aren't going to be polite, nice kids. I guess I’ll find out when they wake up. I fell asleep within the hour and I slept until the end of the flight. Luckily I never found out what those girls were like. I exited the plane as I felt the warm air of California enter the airport. I saw my sister right there waiting for me and I ran up and gave her a big hug. My sister's name was Olivia and she wore her dark red Stanford sweatshirt with black sweatpants. “Come on lazybones, let's get to the apartment before traffic gets really bad.” She said excitedly.
I arouse and realize it’s an effulgent and sunny Saturday . As I casually walk to the kitchen still in my one-piece onesie, I find my 2 friends Wren and Zhee, whom she is the goddess of comeliness and I am the goddess of quandaries. They apportion a few laughs as I panic and run back to my room to transmute into something more mundane. After I transmute, I casually walk back to the kitchen where I was afore, when I was shocked by my friend’s appearance. As I masticate my rice crispy cereals they commence to brainstorm conceptions on how to spend our Saturday together. Then, they mentioned the beach and it immediately caught my attention. I genially wrap up my breakfast, then reply with an expeditious, “ definitely the beach."
