A life changing event for example a car crash can have a great impact on the people involved in the wreck. I realized that after my wreck I had traveling to school. I was on my way to the last day of sophomore year. I had been driving for a little under a year at the point and I knew that wrecks happen all the time and you need to be cautious when driving. I was a few block away from the school and was at a stop light, my light turned green and a person across the way thought they could turn on a red light. I started to drive forward and saw a car coming at me.
The car coming was trying to turn I didn’t know that they were going to continue to drive seeing that I had the right a way the kept driving and began to turn. The driver of the other car had hit the passenger side of my car. I remember getting out of the car and seeing all these random pieces of plastic and medal laying on the ground as other car continued to drive pass. All I heard was the sound of the crash kept replaying in my head and at one point all I heard was the sirens of the police, ambulance and firetrucks. Even though it wasn’t a big crash.
Weeks later I kept replaying all of the sounds in my head and sometimes when I drive by that spot I can hear the sirens all over again. The person driving the car came up to me and apologized to me I all knew was that I was shaken up and they seemed perfectly fine to me.
Standing there trying to figure out all in insurance and paper work I remember how hot it was.
An experience that really changed my life was when my grandfather was on the verge of death in the hospital. I remember seeing my family crying and my heart ached. I visited him every day and came home to study for my exams. I would sleep late every night to study and cry. In that moment, I realized how precious life was and how much of an impact we as individuals have other people. Ever since, I have tried to enjoy every single moment of life, whether a simple walk to school or spending time with my family.
This tragic moment in my life was very impactful. Not only did it change my brother Jason’s life, but it also changed mine. At a young age I believed that everything happens for a reason. Events, such as arguments with friends, tragedies in life, or just happy moments happen to make
I've experienced a lot of events which had great impact on me since I was young. Thinking of life changing events, the one I would like to share is when I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. It was a very devastating day for me. A day that changed my life. I never thought Id get through but today I can say that Diabetes has changed me for the better.

Everyone in their life has had something happen to them that influenced them somehow, whether it was something big or little, good or bad. Some examples would be a death of a family member or a close friend, but it could also be being nominated for something outstanding that sets the course for the rest of their life. I have a lot of things in my life that have impacted me in some way or influenced how I saw something. An experience that has greatly impacted my life and influenced me would be moving. The move that my family and I recently went through impacted my entire life a great deal, and it influenced me to see things in a bigger way, to appreciate the little things more, and to always try to see things from a different perspective.
I had an experience that changed my life completely in just in a blink of an eye. Even though 19 is still a young age, it should never happen to anyone. I stop to think every day about that day and what had happened to me was a tragedy. Ever since then, I’ve seen how much I have changed and because of that I cherish life
I just could not believe what happened. My night was going so good, then all of a sudden it turned into a nightmare. The entire ride home I just stared out the window at the pitch black sky. My dad and I never spoke a word the whole time. When we approached the place where I wrecked, I tensed up and closed my eyes. It made me sick to my stomach to see the truck upside down. The next thing I knew we were pulling into my driveway. When I got inside, I hugged my dad and told him I loved him and I was sorry for what happened. I then did what the nurse said and went in the shower. As I stood in the shower with the warm water hitting my face, the accident kept playing over and over in my head. With all of the glass and dirt washed out of my hair, I went to bed. It was beyond relaxing to lay in my bed. I layed there for a few moments, then slowly drifted to
The event that made me see larger societal forces could impact what happened in someone's life was when I was in grade 11 and my friend Alexis died of suicide. Her family did everything they could to get her help but Nova Scotia did not have the support system in place to help them help her. Because I know the specifics of the situation I realized how hard it is for someone with a mental illness to get help.
Initially; when I became aware of my surroundings, the driver of the other car was at my side asking if we were okay. My friend was screaming, her face was covered in blood. The rearview mirror was missing, windshield and driver side window shattered and
There are several experiences that people go through in life. Examples of these are the first day of school, getting a driver’s license, or going to college. They can be intimidating, but it can have a major impact on your life. I went through a traumatic experience, and it had a major impact on me. This experience was a car accident.
Life impacting events can come in many different forms. They can come as a wedding, the birth of a child, a divorce, a death, or in another way. Mine came in a single decision. I decided to join swim team in third grade and it changed my life. I have experienced so many amazing things because of this sport. I have gained time management skills, a great form of exercise and so many friends.
An accident last year changed my attitude towards life . That accident had a great impact on me , it taught me to treasure what i have and to treasure those people around me more . Although the accident was not life threatening , it was still the scariest thing i had ever been through in life . It was an accident that no one would have expected and wanted it to happen .
It was one life-changing experience I was seven years old when I became grateful for the things that I had. I remember packing for this big trip my parents were planning for a year now. I precisely recall my mother telling me to go through my closet and pick clothes I did not use to give away, I didn't know why, but I didn't ask, I just did it. As the day got closer I remember my parents had accumulated a great amount of things to give away. I quite didn't understand why they were gathering so many things and for what reason.
career again, and a significant life event in my life was also when I had a baby in 2014. Although, I have many life events in the past, when I had a baby and became a mother significantly shaped my life because his presence in my life made me more focused on nursing degree. But, I was not comfortable telling this to my husband. I can compare this part of my life to Walter Hansen in the “The Undeclared Major” by Will Weaver. Walter did not know what he wants his major to be, so he was keep changing his major, when he finally decides to be an English Major, he was scared to tell his father ().
A life-changing event is not something to be taken lightly. Throughout our lives, we encounter many obstacles and changes, some of which bring us joy and excitement, others of which may be hard for us to handle. When I look back on my relatively short life, it may, at first, be hard for me to think of an event that has truly molded and shaped the person that I am today. I have encountered several changes, but at the time, they felt like mere speed bumps along my path. Looking back now, it is easy for me to see that these changes were not by chance, but were placed in my path to form the person that I am today.
