"Baekhyun! Time for school!" His aunt shouted through his door. He groaned and rolled onto his back. At least yesterday he thought he'd get a quiet and nice ride to school, now he was stuck with Chanyeol. He'd forgotten to throw his clothes in the laundry, but lucky enough for him he found decent smelling clothes. He threw them on and headed into the kitchen. He sat down at the table and ate a couple bites of his breakfast. His appetite still hadn't returned, he would only eat for his aunt's benefit. The doorbell rang, Baekhyun now dreaded that sound. He grabbed his walking stick and headed towards the door. Well, this should be fun, he thought as he opened the door. "Look, Byun, I don't like just as much as you don't. Don't blame me for this," Chanyeol spat. Baekhyun said his goodbyes to his aunt and waited till the door was closed to have Chanyeol grab the walking stick. He didn't want his aunt to know that Chanyeol wasn't doing his job correctly. Although he should tell someone that Chanyeol isn't doing what he's supposed to, he didn't see the point. Even if he did somehow get rid of Chanyeol, he'd most likely get someone worse later. He didn't exactly know how they could get worse than Chanyeol, but he knew it was possible. — "When we pull into school, no one can see you, okay?" Chanyeol reminded him. "Chanyeol, that's not how blindness works." Baekhyun laughed at his own lame joke, although Chanyeol didn't find it as amusing. "Do you understand or not? Or are you
“Ma! Hide! Get everyone and get in the wall! The gestapo are just down the road. They’re already at the Williams. Dalia! Adam! In the floor!,” Emilia yelled out of panic as soon as she entered the room.
“We could split up and search the house once more to see what we could find,” I announced as I look deeply into his bright blue eyes.
Alone one dark Friday winter night, Alley was sleeping soundly cozy under her bright pink comforter. Her single mother, Isabella, had left that morning out of town for a work meeting. Alley’s father had died a few years ago from a mysterious murder. Suddenly she got out of bed and shivered to the door to see what was making this weird noise. Alley opened the door and stepped onto the back porch, looking into the dark night. Listening to the sound of the wind howling and the sound of the harmless crickets chirping. But, nothing and no one was there…
Delilah Quille smoothed her maids dress before dusting the chandelier that hung above the main hall her naturally straightened blonde hair had been tightly made into long pigtails that caught dust before it fell to the glossy dark oak floor. “Delilah do you know where Edgar is?” she heard her master ask, his Emerald colored eyes looked curious, “No Master Ekon I haven’t” although she’d never admit it Delilah Quille was fond of Ekon Grey he was like an older brother to her as she was an orphan until his father Wolf Grey took her in and raised her as his own, Ekon’s mother had died during his birth and his father of pneumonia he was alone, the wealthy 21 year old only had his servants to give him the company he desired, his maid (her), his butler Edgar, and the cook who was an Italian named Loreto were the only ones he had talked to in ages which is why Delilah had kindly advised him to have a formal ball to meet business partners and perhaps decide who he was to marry. “All right don’t forget I will be having guests over as well, please have the ballroom ready I will find Edgar to help you” with that the civilized young man left his coat tails swinging behind him as he left to find his butler, Edgar Harp. Delilah had finally primped every part of the ballroom she did this by decorating, polishing, and sweeping the ballroom, When Edgar had finally come to her aid she was exhausted from the work she had done that day.The naturally chipper maid had just wiped the sweat from her
Can’t do it, you don’t want to know,” Matthew said, displaying emotions for the first time. “Okay, but you won’t be happy.” He stopped talking, looking around the room as if looking for a camera.
“It was nothing I’ll see you tomorrow. I love you.” Delaney quickly hung up the phone so her mom couldn’t ask her questions anymore.
The bosun slashed his cutlass through the air. ‘Not ‘afore ‘e tells us where ‘e buried the treasure.’
“Grab all of our stuff and leave nothing behind, I said,” Angel told me that we were good to go and that we should start moving. However, I hesitated to move out of the room in fear that I could die if whoever is here is waiting right outside the door. I gave Jordan and Luke the signal to take down the barricade and to immediately move. They took it down with a little time I then told Nic to open the door so I can push out. I mustered up all of the courage I had and decided to push on out of the room checking my corners. I then proceed to move forward weapon at the ready in case any unwanted individual approaches me. “We can move back to the entrance to leave this God Forsaken place, but there is a chance that we will run into whoever it was that stabbed Andres.” Regardless of the possible encounter, my companions told me it's a risk we would have to take. We made our way through the path that led us to the Doctor’s office. On our way back we saw what looked like a small girl possibly seven years old. Andres nudged me and said, “Dude something's not right here. Why the hell would there be a kid in a place like this”? I look at him acknowledging what he says and nod with hesitation. I say back to him, “ Maybe she wandered in dude you swear like I know her reasoning. Jordan called my attention and then began to point at the girl. To my surprise, it looks like someone slit her throat. She spoke and told us to run because he has been waiting for new people. I looked at her in
The sun was setting on what seemed like a normal winter day, but the people in the nearby town would never guess that on that very normal day they would find the remains of one of the bloodiest massacres ever to take place in their quaint, little town. Now, I’m sure that you want to know what happened, am I right? So, if I’m going to tell you the story, I’m going to tell it right. In order to do that we need to go back to the night before last. Now, I must warn you. This story is not for the faint of heart, nor for children or the elderly. This story is for those of dark hearts, those who are able to look into the darkness, unlike our dear killer, and not be engulfed. So, my dear readers, I must bid you ‘good luck’ and remember, don't look into the darkness that is contained in this story for too long, or I'm afraid you won't make your way back to the world you now know.
No longer since the sun went down, Allie made her way down the fire escape from her small city apartment and walked a couple blocks to Carson’s house, passing two homeless men sitting on the sidewalk holding up, ‘I lost my family and my job. Care for some change’ signs, and a police cruiser hidden in the alley way. Allie thought about the homeless men without much food. All they wore were dirty and ripped clothing with scruffy faces; they probably had not showered or shaved in sometime. She wondered if she had been homeless, would she be sitting in front of coffee shops begging people for money because she was hungry. If it wasn’t for Peter, to find her in trouble, she would have be one of them.
The wind whooshes, sobbing and embarrassed Yollie runs and runs. Without even lifting her head up to see Yollie rushes through the small park, through Henry Avenue, to the farthest right home. Blood gushing through her feet, knees scraped by branches. She knocks on the door of her small house, she hears footsteps. ¨Hola¨! says Mrs.Moreno before she sees Yollie. Horrified she places a large, hand on Yollie.¨Move it¨ Yollie yells. yelled Yollie pushing Mrs. Moreno aside.
“You ungrateful brat, I begged you to bring your dad some ice cream and now look − you wouldn’t even do it. Well, go on home, and I’ll get it for him!” Virginia yelled, and Deborah started crying.
Tovi stared at her reflection in the mirror mounted on the wall, tucked her shirt into her pants and then left her room and entered the living room shortly after where John watched TV.
SLAM, Joel woke with a start to the sound of the old rusted out truck door slamming shut. He figured he knew what that sound meant on this day compared to others. It meant his uncle, Bert, was putting his dog down. Joel knew the day was coming the way his aunt and uncle had been talking lately but he fought it nonetheless. Constantly yelling and arguing since that was the only thing he could think to do since he wasn’t really fighting the two adults who usually stood before him but rather time. Joel felt worthless in the months leading up to now since he knew there was nothing he could do. To Joel, that sound was the final blow, he was well aware that he did not have a choice anymore. Regardless of that fact that was sinking in, Joel bolted up right and tore through the old house flying through the front door. Completely jumping the rotted out steps Joel landed in a cloud of dust that billowed up from where his barefeet made contact with the dirt before taking off after the old pickup truck as it rumbled down the gravel driveway.

Don’t touch the walls. He looks around confused. Next to him his dog sits waiting command from him. Joe thinks silently, why am I here, did I do something to upset someone? I have an hour to get out. Jake, my goldendoodle, sniffs and starts to walk away, Joe starts to call him back right after he takes off in a sprint. Jake is in a full sprint turning curves, wagging his tail and barking. Joe tries to keep up, after he loses sight the barking stop. Joe hears a few whimpers and starts sprinting to find them. Joe’s blood pounds in his ears, his heart races, he starts to see all of the memories that he has with Jake. Turning all the corners as fast as he can and looking desperately he finds Jake. Jake is sitting staring at the wall whimpering, there is a little hole at the bottom of the hedge. Joe grabs Jake’s collar and crouches down to his level and scratched his ear.
