Kimmy Schmidt a young, naive girl who comes to New York City in escape from her kidnapper. Kimmy is seeking to make a name for herself in the big city with nothing. After discovering that she was a doomsday cult survivor, Kimmy tries to live every moment to the fullest. In Unbreakable:Kimmy Schmidt, Tina Fey, the director, portrays Kimmy as having an outwardly colorful soul after coming up from the bunker, but in reality Kimmy is just attempting to live the lost life of the teenager that she never could discovered in the bunker.
An interview with E!, Ellie Kemper had this to say about her character Kimmy: "Bad things will happen. That's what life is, but the ability to overcome that and surmount it and let those experiences define you is, I think, what makes [Kimmy] so inspiring."1 Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is full of obscure and selfish characters. Many of these characters have no sense of a moral compass and each character comes with a unique backstory on life. While Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is written in a comedic style and is absolutely the goofiest show you will come accross, Tina Fey frequently aims and shoots at controversial subject targets, in order to have her opinion heard.
Feminism and race/sexuallity play an immense in shaping the story structure for. Feminism is a major part of Kimmy’s discovery of the “new world”, and Tina Fey makes sure she uncovers this in a very monotoned sense. At one point in the show, a random New yorker guy hits on Kimmy by

Satirical Elements Behind Mean Girls Mean Girls, a movie released in 2004 and written by Tina Fey, uses a array of satirical devices to makes her audience convulse with laughter, but also to poke fun at the stereotypical cliques associated with high school students. Some people worship Mean Girls as the end all be all for accurate representations of high school, but it is, indeed, a satire that utilizes lampoon and caricature to emphasize the ridiculousness of the drama stemming from the popularity hierarchy present in many high schools. While the movie attempts to point out the flaws in how seriously our culture takes high school drama and popularity, Fey successfully creates a Horatian satire with the persona being the naïf, Cady Heron.
The Fault in Our Stars depicts Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16-year-old girl diagnosed with terminal thyroid cancer. The book chronicles her relationship with Augustus Waters, who has also been diagnosed with cancer. Throughout the novel, Hazel constantly struggles with her identity in relation to her disease. She is conflicted whether to accept the prescribed image society has of her or to embrace her true inner self. Through a period of self-realization, she eventually comes to terms with and redefines her identity. Although society may define an individual’s self-image, The Fault in Our Stars demonstrates that identity is defined by the inner self, rather than external forces; in turn, that self-perception deeply impacts one’s perspective on life.

The adventures and often misadventures of this grandson and grandpa duo along with their family members are a delight and often downright absurd to watch. There are moments of preposterous incidents that'll leave with a stupefied expression and then immediately sent you off into fits of laughter. It is a highly entertaining show, where their exploits cross over multiple universes and dimensions and often end up interacting with beings from another world, trying to catapult the series into the fringes of possible realms within comprehension. But it has the titular characters sharing a close bond while simultaneously possessing eccentric personalities to keep us intrigued; the other characters of the

Short Plot Summary Tina Fey starts her section off with explaining “One of my five hundred nicknames for my daughter is Miedge, which is short for Midget, because she was a very small baby.” (239) Tina Fey went into a “deep depression” after having her baby. Everybody loves Raymond is a show that was first released during the year of 1996 and ran all the way to 2005. The show is centered around Ray Barone, a talented sports writer who constantly has to put up with his wife, brother, kids, and even parents. Raymond is generally very sarcastic, no matter what the situation, and he does just about everything in his power to not have to deal with his kids. Instead he leaves most of the responsibilities of child care and cleaning to his wife, Debra. Although Everybody Loves Raymond manages to pull off being a wonderful show, it still plays into the stereotypical behavior of Gender roles, which ultimately prevents society from making any real progress.
In the teen comedy Mean Girls, directed by Mark Waters, the protagonist (Cady Heron) is welcomed into the stereotypical high school setting after being raised in Africa for all of her educational path. Cady, never being in a public-school setting, comes across the Plastics: Regina George (unspoken leader), Gretchen Wieners (gossip queen), and Karen Smith (the stupid, clueless one), who are at the top of the social pyramid. Befriended by the girls, Cady is left to decide whether or not she belongs in this clique or if her place exists in a different one. Throughout the film satirist and comedic scenes are used to show the different sexist lenses and stereotypes that women are viewed with.
These types of feminists in the 1980s broke many barriers to be represented for their intelligence and not their appearance or status. The other stereotype that contradicts the opposing feminist, is the woman that betrays her feminist ideals in order to climb the business mountain which is embodied by the Kathrine Parker character. By using her femininity and gender to advance, then eventually cheating over her fellow female worker, reveals the character’s inconsistency. For example, Kathrine Parker flirted with a businessman to get what she wanted at a business meeting in the “Dim Sum Scene,” by using her womanly aspects to get what she wanted. Resulting in turning into the problem: oppressive powerful business employe, by disrespecting, disregarding, and robbing ideas from other employees, some of the problems women faced in the early stages of their career.
This theory is used to critically analyze relationship between language, ideologies, and society to reveal the portrayal of women in the film.
I am not allowed to watch much TV. Therefore, I must be super selective about what I watch. While I could waste a lot of time watching Duck Dynasty, when it comes to choosing a show, Family Guy is my top selection. I think the popular cartoon comedy Family Guy, written by Seth MacFarlane, is one of the best shows still running today.

In this movie, there are some scenes which reflect the feminism theory. The first scene is when Warner told to Elle that he want break up with her. The reason why Warner want to break up is because he is a blue-blood family which never marry women blonde. It seems that Warner always see a blonde women has a lower position than his family.
