AIDS and Cancer has changed the life for some of the people that I know. The reason why I choose to write about AIDS and cancer because my uncle died from stage four lung cancer last year. The other reason why I choose to write on these two topic is I got to work with these patient when I took Health Science in high school. Living with these two disease on a daily base is a struggle because they don't know what day is going to be a good or bad day; also, these disease alter their bodies immune system.

There are three ways that a person can contract the AIDS. Having unprotected sex with someone who is infected by the disease, but "more than 1,194,039 people in the United States have been diagnosed with AIDS."(Welcome to AIDS.gov) The exchange of these body fluids Semen, Pre-seminal fluid, Rectal fluids, and Vaginal fluids during sex can lead to you get the AIDS. The other way the disease can be contracted is sharing a dirty needle with someone who has the AIDS. "Injection drug users represented 8% of new HIV infections in 2010 and 15% of those living with HIV in 2011. Since the epidemic began, an estimated 270,726 blacks with AIDS have died, including an estimated 6,540 in 2012." (Welcome to AIDS.gov) Cancer does not enter the body through sexual contact, but it grows in the body as cells and tumors. "Cancer starts when cells in a part of the body start to grow out of control. Growing out of control and invading other tissues are what makes a cell a cancer cell." (American Cancer Society) There has been 312,150 male to die from cancer this year as well as 277,280 female. AIDS is more commonly found in men's and Cancer is more commonly found in women. AIDS cause fatigue because the disease weakens the immune system. Since AIDS weakens the immune system it makes it easier for people to get chest infection which leads to coughing. Discharge takes place when the sex organs releases blood or when sore start leaking infection. Cancer cause fatigue because your body grows weaker as the cancer progress. "A cough that does not go away may be a sign of lung cancer. Hoarseness can be a sign of cancer of the larynx (voice box) or thyroid gland." "Unusual bleeding can happen in early or advanced cancer." It also let you know what type of cancer you may have. The signs and symptoms for AIDS and Cancer are also similar to the flu or pneumonia, so it important that you see a doctor so he or she can tell you if have the flu or AIDS or Cancer. Early detection of AIDS and Cancer can save your life or make the disease
