1. Abel: Killed by his brother Cain out of jealousy because God preferred Abel’s offering rather than Cain’s. He also tended to his family’s flocks on their farm.
2. Abimelech: The king of Gerar and is known to be a God fearing
3. Abraham: Husband of Sarah, is told by God to leave his home to go to a new land to spread God’s teachings. After much difficulty, he has only one child with Sarah, Isaac, and is ordered to sacrifice him but God intervenes last minute to reveal that it was a test of his faith and he may keep his son.

Benjamin: The second son of his mother Rachel and Jacob’s youngest son. He assisted his brothers in selling Joseph as a slave.
6. Cain: The first born son of Adam and Eve. He has a hard time controlling his anger and when he found out that God preferred his brothers offering rather than his own, Cain killed him and lied to God.
7. Esau: Known for being Jacob’s hairy twin and later sold his birthright to his brother for a bowl of stew.
8. Isaac: The father of Jacob and Esau and Sara’s only son of Abraham. When Isaac was young, he was intended to be sacrificed by Abraham to God.
9. Jacob: The father of twelve patriarchs of Israel. He tricked his older Brother, Esau, to give him his birthright and was fooled by his children that his favorite son, Joseph, was killed by an animal but was really sold into slavery by his brothers
10. Joseph: The favorite of his father, Jacob, and was sold into slavery by his brothers because they were jealous of his father’s favoritism. Later on Joseph meets with his brothers and forgives them. The tree of evil (2:17): In the garden of Eden, there is a tree of the knowledge of good and evil that is forbidden for anyone to eat from. Eve is persuaded by the evil snake to eat from the tree and even convinces Adam to eat with her. Once they consumed the fruit of the tree, they both became conscious of their nudity and were embarrassed. God then banished them from the paradise and forced them to produce their own crops with hard labor.
21. Cain and Abel (4:1-16): Both brothers gave God an offering to please Him. But God didn’t care for Cain’s offering and favored Abel’s instead. Because Cain had a hard time controlling his anger, he went out and killed his brother out of sheer jealousy and rage. When he returned, he lied to God and said that he had no idea where his brother could have gone. God was very upset and cursed Cain to be a helpless wanderer and for his crops to be fruitless for the rest of his life.
22. The Flood (6:9-9:17): After witnessing a so much sin in the world he created, God ordered Noah to make an arc to protect himself, his family and two of every animal. The flood would wipe out the entire human race, cleansing the world of sin and it would rain for forty days and forty nights. Once the flood was over God promised to never create another flood
