1. Abel: Killed by his brother Cain out of jealousy because God preferred Abel’s offering rather than Cain’s. He also tended to his family’s flocks on their farm.
2. Abimelech: The king of Gerar and is known to be a God fearing
3. Abraham: Husband of Sarah, is told by God to leave his home to go to a new land to spread God’s teachings. After much difficulty, he has only one child with Sarah, Isaac, and is ordered to sacrifice him but God intervenes last minute to reveal that it was a test of his faith and he may keep his son.

6. Cain: The first born son of Adam and Eve. He has a hard time controlling his anger and when he found out that God preferred his brothers offering rather than his own, Cain killed him and lied to God.
7. Esau: Known for being Jacob’s hairy twin and later sold his birthright to his brother for a bowl of stew.
8. Isaac: The father of Jacob and Esau and Sara’s only son of Abraham. When Isaac was young, he was intended to be sacrificed by Abraham to God.
9. Jacob: The father of twelve patriarchs of Israel. He tricked his older Brother, Esau, to give him his birthright and was fooled by his children that his favorite son, Joseph, was killed by an animal but was really sold into slavery by his brothers
10. Joseph: The favorite of his father, Jacob, and was sold into slavery by his brothers because they were jealous of his father’s favoritism. The tree of evil (2:17): In the garden of Eden, there is a tree of the knowledge of good and evil that is forbidden for anyone to eat from. Eve is persuaded by the evil snake to eat from the tree and even convinces Adam to eat with her. Once they consumed the fruit of the tree, they both became conscious of their nudity and were embarrassed. God then banished them from the paradise and forced them to produce their own crops with hard labor.
21. Cain and Abel (4:1-16): Both brothers gave God an offering to please Him. But God didn’t care for Cain’s offering and favored Abel’s instead. Because Cain had a hard time controlling his anger, he went out and killed his brother out of sheer jealousy and rage. When he returned, he lied to God and said that he had no idea where his brother could have gone. God was very upset and cursed Cain to be a helpless wanderer and for his crops to be fruitless for the rest of his life.
22. The Flood (6:9-9:17): After witnessing a so much sin in the world he created, God ordered Noah to make an arc to protect himself, his family and two of every animal. In Isaacs’s time he dedicated his life to God also. He was a miracle child born to Abraham and Sarah. 3 men came to Sarah and Abraham’s house saying that they would give birth to Isaac in a year. Sarah was 90 years old and Abraham was 100 they were too old to have kids but Sarah laughed at the fact that God would let her give birth to a son. But nothing is impossible with God. When Isaac was a young lad, God ordered Abraham to sacrifice him, but an angel of the Lord told Abraham not to precede forward it was a test of his faith. Even if Abraham sacrificed his son God would have raised him from the dead to live a normal life. When Isaac was an adult, he married a woman named Rebekah and they had twins together. Isaac prayed for his wife to get better and to conceive and God heard and so He let open her womb and then she had twins. Rebekah favored Jacob more and Isaac couldn’t love both boys equally. Isaac loved Esau more. The twins names were Esau and Jacob. Isaac was respectful to God and was loving to Rebekah as well. Isaac became a patriarch to the Jewish. Cain and Abel were in a situation much more unique than Esau and Jacob, and Joseph and his brothers faced, for the society they lived in was extremely small, and they each had a direct relationship with God. As the book of Genesis tells us, Cain was the first born son of Adam and Eve. Their next son was a boy whom they named Abel. As Cain and Abel grew up both took responsibilities for making a living.
Cain and Abel-After Adam and Eve had committed the first sin, God told them that they could make up for it by sacrificing a lamb to him. Later, Adam and Eve had their first sons. Cain, the older one, was a farmer, while Abel, the younger one was a shepherd. Adam and Eve told them about God’s request, and Abel reluctantly sacrificed his lamb. Cain thought it was silly to sacrifice a perfectly good lamb, so he decided to sacrifice some dry straw to God too. But when they set fire to both the lamb and the straw to be sacrifice, only the lamb caught fire. Cain became jealous of his brother since God took Abel’s sacrifice and not his, and eventually his jealousy overcame

It is clear that Cain’s initial interaction with God was indeed a negative one but it created an outlet for Cain to question truth and to prove why religion’s truth is incorrect.
