Consultants adopted the theory of ‘sociology of translation’ to solve organizations’ problem. Discuss the nature of the relationship between external management consultants and customer or user groups. The author considers the other resource management role and differential access to its knowledge and skills, such as an important exercise of power relations.

ERP integrates information technology and advanced management ideas become the modern enterprise mode which reflecting the era of enterprise reasonable allocation of resources. It maximizes the creation of social wealth and become the cornerstone of corporate survival. In the company, the general management mainly includes three aspects: production control (planning, manufacturing, logistics (distribution), procurement, inventory management) and financial management (accounting, financial management); three systems are integrating and the importance of human resources constitutes the primary module of ERP system. Today Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is extensively adopted by many organizations regardless of kind and size, mainly because it provides enterprise-wide view of information across all their business operations and help organizations achieve consistency across all their functional departments. The potential benefits of ERP system implementation include improved coordination across functional areas, increased efficiency, reduced operational costs, rapid access to information for decision making, managerial control and support for strategic planning.
Enterprise resource planning enables firms to replace different departmental information systems and database silos with systems that collectively work as a single cross functional database. ERP systems are available for every key business function such as order processing, production control, HR, warehouse, marketing, finance and much more. By having a common technology and database platform throughout the firm, systems and processes from various departments can be integrated that achieve superiority in terms of enhanced cost, operational and productivity benefits. Implementing an ERP system requires careful planning to achieve the targeted benefits and minimize the risk of project failure.
The object of this research paper is to describe the implementation challenges of an enterprise system, then to analyze the changes required in its implementation and discuss the advantages of ERP over legacy systems. Some of the informational background will be discussed in this paper regarding enterprise resource planning systems. This paper will construct some examples from my research findings to show why ERP has advantages over legacy systems. This paper will also not only provide strengths of having an enterprise system, but will show weaknesses as well. And to conclude, this paper will explain why and how enterprise systems will be of benefit for organizations and business with decision-making processes.

It also makes easier to decision making process in the business. According to data in 2000 organization spend over 20 billion USD for ERP planning. Which rises 6.7 billion only in a year and they estimated that will be more than 27 billion next 8 years. (Wang, 2008)
Successful implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is not impossible in real life but for that it must be developed through a proper planning and implementation. ERP are designed to upgrading an organization’s ability to generate more timely and accurate information for its supply chain. Organization must be ready for reengineered before the success of productivity can be realised. Most of the companies have faced heavy problems while trying to implement ERP systems and have led to serious problems.
Regarding, the ERP systems, one of the most important studies has been emphasized by O’Leary (2000) which categorizes the benefits of ERP systems into two categories, respectfully tangible and intangible benefits. Therefore, some of the tangible benefits of ERP systems relies in reduction of inventory, reduction of procurement costs, reduction of maintenance, reduction on transportation costs, production improvement etc. In the same line (Schalk 1999) argues that through ERP systems negotiation between organizations and suppliers is easier therefore there is a reduction in the cost of raw materials. Thus, more savings lead to greater benefits for the organizations.
The success of any business lies in effective communication and proper data exchange within internal departments. Delayed in latest information is a remarkable obstacle in failure of any business. To overcome this problem, a proficient solution "ERP" came into existence. ERP is an approach of amalgamating the various departments of an enterprise such as Sales, HR, Finance, Marketing, Production, Warehouse, etc. The single source where internal departments can share and access information quickly is ERP. In actual, ERP is a wide centralized database where all the inter-departmental data is stored. It is capable of performing multiple operations in a single time and can be used by various enterprise units at the same time.

The key characteristics of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) are as follows. Firstly, it comprises of “an integrated system that operates in (or near) real time without relying on periodic updates”, according to (SHEILDS, 2001). That is, it automatically circulates information and data across departments and does not require manual updating by any workers. Thus, it comprises of a worker-independent and fully automated operating system. Secondly, it consists of “a common database that supports all applications”, according to (SHEILDS, 2001). That is, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system consists of a master database in which all the information and data from each of the processes and/ or various functional departments is gathered and thereby consequently disseminated to each of the other processes and/ or various functional departments. In the context of integrating the processes of supply chain function, this characteristic would imply the following. There would be a master database that would gather information and data received from various working units associated with inbound logistics (i.e. process of getting raw materials from suppliers), warehousing (i.e. process of stocking the work in process goods and/ or finished goods), and outbound logistics (i.e. process of delivering finished goods to customer). And after gathering the information and data received from all working units associated with each of the processes in the supply chain, there would be
