The last article talks about the 59th Unnamed Cave, in Florida. This cave is located in the eastern part of the Florida Panhandle. This site was the first cave art site that was found in Florida and it is the second rock art site that was found in the states. Rock art is very rare in Florida, but now with the site found there is a wider perspective on the importance of rock art. The site did not only include the petroglyph drawing of the past, but it included some artifacts that was use to help date the time that the cave was occupied.

In the movie Cave of the Forgotten Dreams, director Werner Herzog and a very small crew are given the opportunity to go to France and see Chauvet Cave. While watching the start of this movie, I was very surprised to see that they were limited with how many people they could bring into the cave. I have gone to a cave in South Dakota and they took hundreds of people in it at a time. So, seeing that I think they only had like five crew members was very shocking. I was surprised though how many experts they had working on mapping the map and doing other tests on the cave. I thought maybe, there would only be like two experts in at a time and not five or six. I also didn’t know there was that many different experts that all can work on the same thing at the same time. Also, while watching I was surprised to see the equipment that they had to use.I never really thought about how the lights can affect the cave walls and the paintings.I was impressed that they filmed the movie in the cave with a non professional movie camera, I did not know that there were other cameras that could work that well in the dark of a cave.

The Wyandotte caves are made out of limestone like any other cave in Indiana but the Wyandotte cave has a “cliff ”so when people go they have to be careful. The thousands of tourists and residents that enjoy these springs are a very good reason to protect and cherish them. The recreation is not as important to preserve as the quality and amount of drinking water that the springs produce. The joy that the springs give so many people and the revenue they could generate are valid reasons to be concerned about their condition and their future. The labyrinth of caves has been a favorite of cave divers for more than 40 years. The diving can be quite dangerous though. Currently, it is the longest cave known in the world with approximately 350 miles of underground interconnected chambers and passages. Mapping and exploration continues and seems like it has no end. Mammoth Cave National Park is situated near Park City in south central Kentucky. It lies in forested and hilly areas of three counties; Hart, Edmonson, and Barren. It occupies about 50,000 acres. A landscape that is mainly covered by the solution features such as sinking streams, large springs, sinking holes, and caves is referred to as karst. For instance, as shown in figure 1.
