Many of the traditions that make Texas A&M unique find their origins in Texas Aggie football. Standing with the student body as part of the 12th Man helped me to understand the traditions and commitment of the original 12th man as he stood on the sidelines. It is this sense of loyalty to the 12th Man that makes every Aggie fan proud when they hear the roar of the crowd. Aggies say that they have seen their team win and lose, but none have ever seen them quit. This is the same when it comes to the Texas Aggies, and part of what makes Texas A&M so special.

Jones projects to be the No. 3 cornerback behind Superbowl hero, Malcolm Butler and Logan Ryan and has done a good job in camp of jamming receivers at the line and knocking players off their routes. Jones’ competitiveness has already stood out at camp to teammate Logan Ryan who was quoted as saying “I’m not one to grade people, I’m not Coach Belichick, but I can just tell, the kid’s an athlete, the kid’s a competitor.
