America's Gift Of Technology

Having an environment that is advancing daily in technology makes communication everyday easier for people. It expanse the availability for communication for the people who are in different countries, gives them the ability to communicate in the comfort of their own home. For an instant, my mother lives here in the United States, but her family lives in Mexico, therefore, communicating face-to-face is inconvenient for them unless she flies to them. Technology has made my mother connect more with her family due to appreciating every moment

When looking through the years technology has benefitted society countless of ways. An example from the book would be the “seashells” that they have to put in their ears, which are basically bluetooth headsets that we have today. “And in her ears the little Seashells, the thimble radios tamped tight” (pg 10). This quote shows how the radio works and it’s helpful because being able to be hands free gives you the opportunity to do other things as well, and being able to multi-task. Looking at today's society there are countless benefits from technology some including medical advancements, research, and time management. A large one would be communication in the article it says; “Social media, texting, and long-distance phone calls has allowed us to contact with others from however far away we are from each other.

America’s gift to my generation is the gift of freedom and equality. America’s gift of freedom falls under the gift of the freedom to use the internet and the free internet, the gift of racial and sexual equality, and the gift of the maintenance of freedom.

The second gift that America has given us is school. We are able to pick a Christian school, public school, home school, or cyber school. If we had no choice we would just go to one school with all the children

Americas gift to my generation is technology. Technology can be a phone, a computer, TV, etc. Some perceive technology as evil and others perceive it as upright. Technology can be used for learning what you learn in school. Also, technology can be both for learning right and wrong.

America’s gift to my generation is giving us the technology we have. If we didn’t have this technology nothing would be as easy as it is right now. Without the technology we wouldn’t be as capable of doing things we can do now compared to twenty-five years ago. We are also gifted by having the education we have. The education we get today is advanced and helps us have better growth when we become adults. No lack of resources is a gift because if we didn’t have as many resources as we have now we would be struggling and going off of rations. If we went off of rations there is a chance we wouldn’t get enough of that supplement and it could damage our bodies.

People can use there technology when they have nothing to do but it just keeps you away from friend and family. Technology can really be helpful for when you are lost and don't know where you are at you can use technology to communicate to get to the place you need to be at. But technology distracts people but can also help people a lot in ways.

Technology allows humans to interact freely on a global scale. Communication is now a hundred times faster than it was twenty years ago. Technology has reached to the point where instant messaging is an everyday fact of life. Technology made it easier to meet new people and keep in touch with friends and families. We can now tweet, blog, Skype, and chat with persons from all over the globe. No longer do we have to wait days before our family in the US sends their greetings. With just a cell phone and internet connection, you can send a message in just seconds to any part of the globe.
