America’s gift to my generation is not just a physical gift, but a mental gift. The physical gift is the safer place to live and grow. This mental gift that America gave to my generation is a deep feeling that you can go around and be who you are, dress in what you want, say what you want, and basically do what you want without being restricted to doing one thing each and every day. America’s gift to my generation is the ability to grow, learn, and live life the way you want to without a limit. Ronald Regan once said,” We are forever indebted to those who have given their lives that we might be free.” We celebrate Veteran’s Day to celebrate those who made the biggest sacrifice for our freedom, America’s Gift, but freedom is not the only thing. America’s greatest Gifts to me are my freedom in general, freedom of Religion, and high advances in technology.
What is America’s gift to my generation? Is it an electronic? Is it a new fidget spinner that lights up? Is it a new restaurant? No, not to me, America’s gift to my generation is the freedom of speech. It is to follow and worship different religions, say what you want to say, be who you want to be. That right cannot be taken from you because, it is the first Amendment and even back in 1791 congress knew that it was an important right. America’s gift is like a car, brand new, shiny gleaming, and takes you where you want to go.
When you join the army you make the biggest, most courageous sacrifice ever. Most people don’t know what it’s like to be in the army, and will probably never find out. America has changed a lot. If you were in america one- hundred years ago, things would have looked very different. America's new generation is not only different from several years ago, but in other countries too.
Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master. I think that its meaning that technology can just make you a dull person and very anti social but it helps you a lot with things. Technology is a certain gift to our generation because there is always something new coming out each year. The new things are like phones because there is always a new one. Some people need technology or they can't function without it. America's gift to my generation is technology.
One of the first gifts that America has given my first one to my generation is technology. The country has such amazing technology we can use for so many good things. We should use our technology for good not bad. We can find cures for so many diseases. Together with, other countries we can do so many amazing things and make the world great. Some corporations are competing for the best they want to be the best and make the most money. But there are also more gifts that North America has given to my generation.
Imagine growing up and not having the right to say what you want or what you believe in or not being allowed to wear what you love wearing, wouldn't that make that make you the same as everyone else? That's why freedom is very important to us and is the best gift to my generation. Freedom let us state our own opinion on things, and also let us wear what we want to wear.
The United States has 1,281,000 people in the US military and 801,200 in the reserve. These people protect us and give us so much for us. We can stay in the houses we own and live were we want. First Amendment, the freedom of speech lets us say what we want and post what we want. The best protection is our protection, we are protect by our military so well that we can’t say thank you enough.
The message that America passes to its youth is that it does not matter what you believe in as long as you are doing what you love. So with that mindset they can become anything that they want.
Sometimes something as simple as a tree can symbolize America. I think the people in this country resemble the apples, fresh and ready to be picked to be taken around the world. However, a specific process is required to produce a healthy apple. It starts with the roots of the tree, which represent a strong foundation and good education. All the apples in the tree need the roots for key nutrients. The branches represent the thousands of life paths that are opened up to us in America. After studying, people set off on these paths to pursue a career. Unlimited opportunities for a good education and careers are America’s gift to my generation.
America’s gift to my generation is having the ability to be free. Abraham Lincoln once said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” That quote has so much meaning behind it.
Throughout my life, I’ve been interested in many different things like languages and business. I’ve always been quite inquisitive, showing interest in what I’m learning. My interest in validating what I’m taught has helped me with solving problems throughout my life. It’s also helped me solve problems in other’s lives as well. I also believe that Generation Z can work together to solve common problems throughout the world thanks to America. America's gift to Generation Z are the resources to help fix and learn from the issues of today; we have electronics that allow us to access information instantly and politicians that challenge our political views.
I will be describing what each branch of the military has done to help improve and make america how it is today. My understanding is that each branch has an enormous impact on how we get to live our life and the things we have the privilege to do on an everyday basis. I greatly appreciate everything that these brave and agile men and women do for us to live the vast life we live.
