I selected the song Farewell to you my Friend by Raymond Lauchengco. The song is referring to moving on, it’s saying goodbye to your younger self and your friends, however, it’s not the edge of saying goodbye. Growing up is inevitable, you and your friends cannot go the same path you ought to choose and build your own future. But, the memories of the past would always be in your heart. Saying that you cannot stay young forever and eventually you must move up and move on. Furthermore, This song evokes my emotion, it makes me glad and bitter. Bitter considering that I miss my friends, teachers, and school and I wish I had an extra chance to be with them. Glad for the reason that this song hit me back with so much memory. The song genuinely means so much to me since before I departed my friends sang this song to me.
