In the future, I hope to pursue a career related to the brain, preferably neurology or neurosurgery. My father has led a research project on traumatic brain injuries, and from the start, he informed me on every step. His constant updates kept me engaged and invested in his project, and passionately curious about the brain’s myriad of functions This previous school year, I took AP Psychology, which only furthered my interest in the brain. Each day, I looked forward to that class and routinely spent time reading in depth about many of the topics. I am also very passionate about the medical field which most likely stems from having both parents working in the medical field. A series of classes offered at my school have provided me with the unique opportunity to become a certified nursing assistant at the conclusion of the upcoming school year.
Since childhood, I have always wanted to be a nurse. Nursing comes naturally for me. It is my passion to show empathy and compassion indiscriminately. I am already in a position of providing care in the role of caregiver, but a higher education will expand my scope of practice and feed my passion to grow professionally.
If you are planning a career in child care, becoming a nursing assistant can be an important step. While it may not be necessary for a position as an aide in a daycare, it could get you a better salary in that same position. While an aide may get minimum wage at the daycare, a certified nursing assistant salary starts at about $9.00 per hour. The advantage of being a nursing assistant when doing child care is the many skills you have been taught during your training.
I am a spouse of an ARMY active duty soldier who has three beautiful kids. I have a passion for nursing and cannot wait to finish my degree in this field. I have been a certified nursing assistant for the last ten years while raising my family and moving around the U.S. with my husband due to him being in the military. As a CNA, my love for nursing and taking care of people grew to a passion. I knew this was my calling. Due to moving a lot these last few years and having to go through multiple deployments with my spouse it has become challenging to finish my degree, but has not stopped me. Just set me back some. I really want to show my kids that it is possible to accomplish your dreams despite what life throws at you. However, with the economy downfall and the rise of cost for living it is becoming a struggle financially to pay for college. It is a consent battle whether to pay for things your family needs or to pay for another set of classes to take. I have recently been accepted into the CTC Nursing program. This means I am only two years from graduating with my degree in nursing. I am undeniable motivated to finish what I started not only for my family, but to prove to myself that anything is possible.
After I graduate, I am trying to get into the RIBN Program through Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College and Western Carolina University. I know becoming a nurse is the right job for me because no matter what I am going through in life someone else’s life matters more than mine. Recently I just finished my 40 hours at the Laurels of Greentree Ridge Nursing Home; this is time that I had to spend with my Nursing Fundamentals class to be able to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. I can honestly say it was nothing compared to what I thought it was going to be. I am one who always does more than I am asked to. I go over and beyond to make someone feel comfortable because no one wants to be in a nursing home. I knew becoming a nurse was
After carefully assessing my past training, experiences, interest, and goals, I have decided to continue my studies and pursue a Master’s in Business Administration. In high school, I was given the opportunity to duel-enroll in a trade school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and join an association known as Heath Occupation Students of America (HOSA). As a member of HOSA, I was privileged to represent my school as a treasurer on the student board of trustees. This gave me small insight into the business world. My high school experience and belief in Christ is what drives my passion to help, care, and love other as Christ first loves me (John 13:34).
Many things will change in fifteen years. For example, technology will innovate people will grow, we would have made new discoveries, and I will be older. However, I am only 13 years old right now. I live in Tucson, Arizona with my family of seven people. I am a quiet, friendly, and hardworking person. I enjoy reading, listening to music, solving brain teasers, being active, and occasionally writing stories. I do not enjoy waking up early, hurting anyone’s feelings, and sometimes public speaking. I am very good at memorizing and learning things quickly. I can also play piano fairly well, but I prefer to be even better. This is who I am now, but my personality may become different as I get older.
When becoming a medical assistance some of the things that you are about to learn and do are things like getting the experience that you need by going to school and being able to work inside a workplace.

I believe that nursing is both and art and a science consisting of psychosocial and biological sciences that work together to continually improve the health care field. I believe that with the knowledge and clinical experience from the TVCC ADN program I will be able to provide the best care possible to the people in the community. As a nurse it is important to carry the attributes of being caring, compassionate, understanding, non judgmental, realistic, open-minded, honest, ethical, and moral. I also feel that it is important to maintain sensitivity to all cultures when providing care.
I was always undecided regarding the career that I wanted to pursue. As I got older and looked at many choices in careers I realized that I wanted to have a career in the medical field. Being a nurse interests me because it requires the study of the human body along with other great opportunities that nurses have in this career. I want to become a nurse because I like being able to help those who are in need.

She then pursued a graduate degree from Boston University. Her official title is, Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medicine.
