Are Zoos Beneficial?

The exhibits are also very fascinating, and after going to the zoo you can catch a glimpse of a certain animal's way of life. Without zoos we wouldn't have the unbelievable experience of seeing Earth's most beautiful life forms. Zoos keep endangered species safe, and out of harms way. We need to start caring about the life forms on this planet. Showing each animal compassion, and love. My knowledge on zoos has been stretched after my reading analysis today. while visiting the zoo a few years ago, i realized how unfair zoos are to the animals. The animals are incased and treated badly by the zoo keepers. In the zoo, I've seen animals being thrown around like they're nothing. why would we want those situations to keep happening to our animals? I believe that zoos should be closed due to unfair treatment.

Do zoos fulfill the needs of the animals? Should animals be kept in only one enclosure for their whole life? Is it worth all the time and money for the animals to be unhappy? Many people think zoos are doing a good job of keeping animals happy in the man made zoos. Because people think that, they support the zoos by giving them money to see these animals instead of going to animal preservations where the enclosures aren’t entirely man made. Animals that can function and survive in the wild should not be kept in zoos because the enclosures do not meet the needs of the animals living in them, zoos restrict animals from their innate behavior and their natural instincts, and zoos are expensive and damage animals homes.

About 150 million people visit the zoo every year. One time when I went to the Omaha zoo with my family. My favorite part was when my family and I went to the aquarium. And there were squids in tanks and the best part of that was there was a little hallway and if you would look up there were sharks, puffer fish, more squids and even, stingrays. Some people believe that zoos are bad for animals. I disagree because zoos save endangered animals, protects wildlife, has medical care for injured animals and has enough food and water for all the animals. Zoos teach kids about animals that they can’t normally see. Some animals, kids can see in a zoo is a Tiger, Lion, Monkeys, and Polar bears. You can’t see these animals unless you travel to areas they live in and a lot of these animals are far. But zoos make it less travel to see these animals. But sometimes there are accidents happen, but that doesn't affect how cool zoos are. For example, you can only see Polar bears in a polar, habitat.
