By the end of your essay, you should have worked through your ideas enough so that your reader understands what you have argued and is ready to hear the larger point (i.e. the "so what") you want to make about your topic.
o Your conclusion should serve as the climax of your paper. So, save your strongest analytical points for the end of your essay, and use them to drive your conclusion
o Vivid, concrete language is as important in a conclusion as it is elsewhere--perhaps more essential, since the conclusion determines the reader's final impression of your essay. Do not leave them with the impression that your argument was vague or unsure.
o WARNING: It's fine to introduce new information or quotations in your conclusions, as long as the new points grow from your argument. New points might be more general, answering the "so what" question; they might be quite specific. Just avoid making new claims that need lots of additional support.

4. The final argument should be the strongest and the one backed up the most. It should be based not only on your personal views, as they could be a bit skewed, but also on the reader’s point of view.
The Little Seagull Handbook, by Richard Bullock, Michal Brody, and Francine Weinberg, is a book full of advice on the writing process. The book is divided up into sections which help’s students to easily find the topic they are searching for. Section W-4e on opening and closing paragraphs was used to improve my conclusions. I do not have a lot of trouble with conclusions, but I feel that mine do not fit as smoothly into my essays as they should. Therefore I decided that I needed to improve my conclusions. The section lists out several tactics to form a conclusion, such as, summarizing the essay, discussing implication of the essay’s argument, and giving a call to some kind of action. Reading the section has given me several ideas for how to end an essay. Now I can either plan which tactic to use ahead of time or
Introduce the first main point of the argument. Then, provide evidence from the sources. Multiple pieces of evidence should be provided to support the main point.
a solid conclusion that reminds readers of your main idea (or thesis) without simply repeating it
For example, when talking about the earth running out of room for farming, he asked his neighbor. Although this neighbor does grow vegetables, they are not a professional and could be just running out of room in their back yard. Also, the author failed to mention, the other point of view/other opinions throughout the whole essay. The author only talks about how "cool" and "super important" to move to the moon. The conclusion clincher is extremely poor
Sexual thoughts pop in and out of most people’s mind, but especially teenagers, and there’s nothing they can do about it. It is normal for teenage boys and girls to experience this, more than ever when they are hitting puberty. The hormones in the body begin to act up and teenagers want to experience other things on their own. Males begin to grow pubic and facial hairs, and their voice starts to deepen, while girls’ breasts begin to develop and their body begins to take shape. After hitting puberty, teenagers are now at the point where they want to experience things. ‚Don’t go out there and get pregnant‛ a mother
Make an assertion, support it with evidence, reasoning and an illustration if necessary, make a transition and move on to your next point. One must balance elaborating points with overloading the audience.
This chapter also taught me he importance a ntroduction and a conclusion has. Decourm chapter 7 states “The introduction to your essay is a invitation to the reader. If your invitation is boring, they won’t join you” (63). I learned that if your introduction is not powerful or appealing the reader may become lost and not intrested. Decorum aalso states “Conclusions are also important because they explang the essay’s ideas in a larger context and undercover why the discussion was worthwhile” (63).
• Tie it back to the quotation. “This proves the quotation is true because…” (2-3 sentences)
A good essay will have a reasonably clear if not overwhelmingly brilliant thesis that is responsive to the question(s) and is supported by a fair amount of evidence.
Content is the most important aspect in an essay and how to conquer this is stressed
3the other thing on my essay draft is writing my conclusion, I have a problem including new information’s and writhing a lot in my conclusion. I will improve by writing a short and brief conclusion.
Argument construction was difficult at first for me due to the fact I was closed off with ideas. It was hard picking a topic which I can go on and on about it. Once I found my topic, everything started to flow much better. Ideas started to come up, my research expanded my knowledge on my topic and I was really impressed on how well I flowed with the argument. I was introduced to information that was shocking and disrupting. I have always strongly believed that video games encourage bad behavior but what I came across during my research truly supported. My research consisted of supporting events that backed up what I argued. The easiest part of this essay was finding supporting events which related to believes and thoughts I always had. It was shocking and disrupting how I was able to speak about those events and give such detail on what happened. I was in this believe in all the events that accord due to video games. Reading the sad stories the disrupting events that happened and to think that it was all due to what I argued. I felt so strong
Third but not least, the conclusion provides an almost mirror image of the introduction, wrapping up the arguments with a restatement of the thesis of your essay. I call this the bottom burger bun or in other words the conclusion. Holding it all together is the bottom bun of the hamburger or the conclusion to sum up all the key points of interest. The conclusion sentence should be interesting by giving it a call to action. As you can see a hamburger is easy to make like writing is not as hard as you think. Writing is very simple to do as preparing a hamburger.
example for conclusion: The language choices these authors (Poe and other guy) made helped create the theme of guilt in their writing. (explain) then explain why this matters/why is it important to understand guilt and how it is shown in writing.
