Technique and argument 1
The first technique I will suggest to use is Ultrasound. Because it is one of the safest to use and it does not use any radiation that would affect her from having children in the future. Furthermore, the evidence to support this idea of using an Ultrasound is because it only uses high frequency sound waves to create an image that will then be shown on video screen. Ultrasound also uses a device called transducer that contributes sound waves and grasp the echoes as they bounce off the organs. This echoes will then be improved by a computer into black and white images. This procedure can show masses of tumours growing in the liver, which can be tested for cancer.
The arguments against this technique is Ultrasound sometimes
Catherine Mill argues that obstetric ultrasound has some impacts upon the embodied experience of pregnancy. For her, Ultrasound does not simply represent an already existing body, but actually constitutes the foetus as an embodied, social being. The basic question whether abortion is morally right or wrong enters into another domain through an analysis of biopolitics of reproduction. The routine use of ultrasound in obstetrics has its impact on the intuitions about the moral status of the foetus. ultrasound plays a significant role in the circulation and realization of norms in reproduction by establishing and shaping embodiment and thereby constitute social and ethical relationships. Ultrasound imaging allows the bodily life of the foetus
the ultrasound would be a way for her to form a bond with her unborn child by actually seeing it move and hearing its heart beat. It's lowkey kind of hard to deny something is alive and living when it is moving and has a heart pumping blood to the rest of its body. The ultrasound would also be the best a way for the doctor to become well informed concerning exactly how far along the pregnancy is to see what type of abortion procedure would be the safest and most necessary for the pregnant woman. It is a crime to injure or kill a fetus during the act of a violent federal crime against a pregnant woman. I do not understand how the murder of a woman that is pregnant actually counts as the manslaughter of two people, instead of just one, when aborting
Moving larger within basketball's game is one thing that many players execute on consistently. It only would seem sensible when-you're trying to score on the ten-foot holder the better the more odds can bounce you have of getting a larger participant and carrying out more concerns around the courtroom.
Ultrasound, or sonography, is a painless way to take pictures of the inside of a patient’s body using sound waves. Ultrasound Technicians operate machines which is called a sonographic scanner. The scanners create pictures of internal organs. There are many different fields of sonography. There is cardiovascular which works with the heart. Abdominal works with the spleen liver and urinary system. Obstetric works with the female's reproductive system. Breast is where you look for abnormalities or cancer in women’s and sometimes men’s breast. Musculoskeletal is where you look at tissues and joints. Neurosonology is working with the brain.
Mammograms are the use of x-rays to image the breasts, and ultrasound is the use of sound waves to image breast tissue. Although ultrasound has great contrast resolution, it does not compare with mammogram with spatial resolution of abnormalities. Ultrasound can image macro calcifications, which are large calcium deposits. Ultrasound does not image micro calcifications, small calcium deposits, which can be the first sign of breast cancer. There are other abnormalities of the breast, like breast lumps and pain. A mammogram and an ultrasound should detect breast lumps, but if they do not the chances of cancer are reduced significantly. There are still cases where abnormalities
I am sorry for your loss .It is common to experience cramping and spotting for few days after the procedure. It should usually slow down over a time. What point of concern here is, bleeding stopped and started again. Follow up ultrasound is very important after D&C to confirm that procedure is completed. There are chances that bit of placenta continue to stick to uterus and drew a little bit fresh blood.
tool for evaluation. Clinical images should also be examined. One or more radiologists should be involved in setting up the displays for the first time to ensure that the images are clinically acceptable.
If you’re pregnant and looking for clear, professional ultrasound images in the Houston, TX area, look no further than New Life Ultrasound. Often with 2D ultrasounds, so much is lost, but, luckily, their skilled team employs the advanced technology of 3D/4D ultrasounds so that the pictures are legible, helpful, and awe-inspiring. They are able to get incredible detail, like movements, features, and so much more.
One new technology that has affected many people is the sonograms. Now it’s easier to check if people's babies are okay. Also it helps to see if people have internal bleeding in the stomach.
I would also recommend a biopsy of her sentinel lymph nodes to ensure that the cancer has not
All participants underwent calcaneal quantitative ultrasound (QUS) scanning to measure their peripheral BMD. Indeed, QUS method offers an alternative way for bone status evaluation when the limited access to the dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) is an issue and the aim is to screen for osteoporosis. Besides, QUS is inexpensive and more portable compared to DXA, while maintaining safety through evading the exposure to the ionizing radiation by DXA (Chin et al., 2013). Moreover, calcaneal QUS and DXA at various anatomic sites were shown to be correlated in several studies, and the measured calcaneal BMD by QUS was efficient and analogous to the measured hip BMD using DXA in hip fracture prediction (Moayyeri et al., 2012; Chin et al., 2013). To ensure that the QUS device was generating accurate measures, daily calibration of the device was performed by means of a phantom provided by the manufacturer. The device uses the ultrasound pulse penetration technique that computes the speed of sound (Baroncelli, 2008). Subsequently, the T-score are instantly derived. The T-score, which is used to describe the BMD, is defined as the number of standard deviations above or below the mean BMD of a
Ultrasound issue: CT/US zoned transporters were both done around 3:30P. (Alex Shum - 3PM & Alex Cruz - 330P). We replaced them with Mary and Anthony; Mary went down at 306P and Anthony shorty after. Mary went up for a patient but never signed off on that patient, so when Anthony went down there he signed off on the same patient Mary was getting. Lynette (ultrasound tech) called dispatch because she wanted to know the ETA for her 330P patient because the patient was schedule for a procedure with a docotor. She said Alex Shum told her he gave it to dispatch. I didn’t take the call from Alex Shum because I know we were sending two transporters down there. Brendan told her we didn’t have the call, but he would check with Mary & Anthony but neither
Ultrasound or ultrasonography is a medical imaging technique that uses high frequency sound waves. It is a high pitch frequency that cannot be heard by the human ear. In ultra sound the following happens: High frequency sound pulses (1-5megahertz) are transmitted from the ultrasound machine into your body using a probe. The sound wave will travel into your body until it hits an object such as soft tissue and bone. When the sound wave hits these objects some of the wave will be reflected back to the probe. While some waves may carry on further till they hit another object and then reflected back. The probe picks up these reflected sound waves and relays them to the machine. The distance and time from the probe,
Ultrasound imaging is one of the popular, cheapest and noninvasive medical scans. During the time of image acquisition, there is distortion of the quality of image in the form of speckle noise. Now a day, many researches made various experiments to enhance the quality of medical image. But still there is scope to enhance the image. In the proposed method, finding out the seed pixel randomly is basic issue, is treated as an optimization problem, it can be solved by Particle swarm optimization. Using particle swarm optimization algorithm , the fitness function can give us appropriate seed pixel for required ultrasound imaging .In this paper, a novel method wherein segmentation will be applied on the filtered image i.e fuzzy filter. Fuzzy filter basically work on fuzzy rules to detect on different gradient and then filtering the noisy , homogenous and edge region. The proposed method has been tested on different images, and the experimental results demonstrate its effectiveness.
Ultrasound is a sound wave that has a frequency greater than the highest frequency humans can hear, therefore it occupies frequency ranges from 20 kHz up to several GHz. Ultrasound is bound by the exactly same wave properties as all other sorts of waves, those being: reflection, refraction, diffraction and mode conversion.
