Art Of The Steal

The book, The Mark of the Thief, written by Jennifer A. Nielsen, is about a slave boy named Nic. The story starts with him mining outside of Rome, with his younger sister, his master told him to go into a deep underground mine. When he got there, he found this powerfull bulla, it had the powers similar to the gods. He then runs away because as he was there, underground, there was a protctor of the bulla, it and Nic left. As you can see that Nic left his younger sister at the mine, he comes back for her. They got down and Nic decided to take a nap, he was then captured and owned by a new master. The new master went into Rome, in rome there were these deadly games that were on, he fought in it.

The assignment will require you to explore several website to learn more about their efforts, examine one case of art theft and identify why art is so valuable. Prepare a five paragraph essay citing at least two sources.

This theme can be seen in the book many times. Since Liesel has foster parents and there pretty poor ,Liesel goes out and steals books with Rudy to defy against Nazi beliefs. Thievery is not a good thing and it's something that’s against what the law say, but in the book thievery is used by Liesel and Rudy to show an act of brutality to the Nazis.

There are many books that will teach you important lessons. In The Book Thief by Markus Zusak there are many lessons to be learned. Some of the lessons that the book teaches is that courage is the key to achieve anything, fear can be distracted, and Death’s kindness. These lessons are important to learn.

Thievery has been a problem with mankind since the beginning of time, many characters in The Book Thief show this character trait that will affect their lives forever. Markus Zusak uses thievery to narrow in on the multiple situations that have been risen in the book that has been a problem for Liesel, who has faced terror throughout her life. Liesel is making poor decisions that is affecting her survival on Himmel Street. Her friendship with Rudy has had a negative and positive effect on Liesel’s life. The Hubermanns sneaking Max to their house and hiding him in the basement. All lead back to the decisions that Liesel makes.

Liesel most definitely could have trusted Rudy with the secret of having Max hidden in her basement. Rudy was clearly Liesel’s best friend and partner in crime when Liesel was doing her acts of thievery stealing the books from the mayor’s wife bookself. The devotion to Liesel Rudy also had was strong and I believe Liesel could have trusted Rudy.

After a small collection of minutes, the smoke exhausted itself. There was nothing left to give.

Adam Szymkowics’ Pretty Theft is about the unexpected troubles and dangers that follow the life of the, young female, protagonist Allegra. After observing the play, Allegra encounters four-male figures in her life: Allegra’s father, Bobby, Joe and Marco. These men have not only taken advantage of her innocence but, affected her life significantly throughout the play.

Now this is the story of how Liesel’s life got flipped, turned upside-down. And I’d like to take a minute; just sit right there. I’ll tell you how she became a princess in a town called Molching. Ok, the story is way too dark to be making Fresh Prince of Bel Air references.

Anne Frank spoke these words, “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart”. These words were spoken while she was in hiding during the holocaust. Anne Frank, her family, and also another family were forced into hiding during the holocaust. The holocaust was a time when many nazis killed millions of jews and took them from their homes and businesses. Even though the holocaust was something that started from evil people, I disagree.

On June 10th, 1991, eleven year old Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped by Phillip and Nancy Garrido while walking to her bus stop. After using a stun gun and dragging her into their car, the Garrido's proceeded to take Jaycee towards Anaheim, California. Once there, Jaycee lived in several run down buildings in the Garrido’s backyard for eighteen long years. It was during that time that Jaycee suffered multiple accounts of abuse, including sexual and emotional, and eventually gave birth to two daughters. During her stay at the Garrido's, Jaycee’s life was stolen for more than half of the time she had been breathing. However, in August of 2009, thanks to the help of two police officers, she was rescued. After the rescue, Jaycee felt that it was important that she shared her story with other kidnapping, abuse, and rape victims to help them know that they are not alone and to show others to never lose hope. It is because of her thoughts, that Jaycee wrote her memoir, aptly titled A Stolen Life, which follows her kidnapping story from her first day gone, to her recovery after being rescued.

On the other hand, the writers might show their audience that in order to grow into an expert a thief was not that different from a university-schooled person; both had to spend a long time to learn their “art”, the art of thievery and the art of literary work. Moll conveys that to be good at stealing, the person had to spend a long time of practicing, as well, just as the scholar who spend a lot of time reading and studying his books. Therefore, a thief is not that different from a person of the upper class, even though the latter probably looks down upon the rogues.

Human mentality is always changing due to emotions and expressions. From that in many literature, it demonstrates to the reader how powerful certain perceptions can be and truly the importance of it. In the novel, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, he cleverly displays important insights that teach readers the impact of the three main attributes in the book. Set during WWII in Nazi Germany where a young girl is building into a breathtaking character that creates an influence throughout adolescents who is reading the book. Escort by other characters whom adds depth to the story by contributing to the overall insight is making a revolutionary novel in society today. The three main insights the characters conduct is perseverance, friendship and sacrifice.
