The current political and business environment has created many challenges for HQ USAASC from continuing resolutions, change in ASA(ALT) Leadership and most recently an administrative change in our political environment. Looming on the horizon is the prospect of major changes in the “Way” we do business and our Priorities as a Governmental Enterprise. These coupled with the ever-changing and increasing demands and expectations of our customers, partners, and stakeholders, swift technological changes on the “hard” side and advancing communication capabilities on the “soft” side, complexity & uncertainty of systems and their effects, changes in warfare as well as being asked to do more without more and to generate greater efficiencies provide
In the infancy of Operation Enduring Freedom the command structure was dislocated, lacked complete oversight, and had other responsibilities that stacked the deck against them to be able to properly prepare for Operation Anaconda. General Franks Commanded Operations in Afghanistan as the CENTCOM Commander from MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. CENTCOM directed Operations through the Coalition Forces Air Component Command (CFACC) via its Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) in the Persian Gulf, and the Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) which was located at Camp Doha Kuwait (Fleri, Howard, Hukill, & Thomas, 2003). I am the last chance for the 4th Armored Brigade Combat Team as well as the unit is the last chance in my carrier. Means that the problems are serious for us and to our personal life. There is no chance to fail. Although, this phrase should not bring a stress neither to me nor to the unit. We will not overcome the obstacles only by math way calculating how high they are, but also we will put our spirit into our efforts to overcome the problems. According to my own observation, Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL) report, Center for Army Leadership (CAL) assessment, conversations and historical reports, overall there are leadership, organizational and personal problems in 4th Armored Brigade Combat Team (4th ABCT). This is a leadership problem which makes the unit unable to put up with changes. The rapid changes of personnel specially in the leadership positions for the past two years is the main reason for this problem. In

This was all that was needed for the LCC staff to give
