What is a Automotive Technician? This is a questions a lot of people ask, but very few understand. My career choice is to be a Automotive Technician. Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Dallas is the college of my choice because of their reputation and their teaching techniques. I want to eventually become a master mechanic, but that takes time and It is important to understand the education or the training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered and the duties for particular career when making this decision.

Personal Statement There are voluminous different jobs in the world, and with that there comes many different people. With lots of different people there comes lots of colleges for different fields that people want to complete, and make a living with that. Well with me I want to make a living welding and fabricating. I come with a wide verities of expertly in this field because I started at a very young age. I can work with stainless steel, sheet medal, square tubing, angel iron and lots, more.

I graduated from University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) with a Bachelors of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree with a major in Electrical Engineering in April 2016. I have been looking for my field job for more than a year.

Automotive Technicians are the people that repair your cars and keep them running properly for you with no problem. When working in this job you need proper schooling as well you cannot just jump in and work on a car you need proper training. Mechanics have lots of duties on the job in which involves a lot with computers and repairing parts for the client’s car. Mechanics earn a very good salary that continues to grow with the more experience you get in the job. Automotive Technicians is a great career to have because you work with many tools to figure out the problem, you get a good paying job, and you will never have to worry about getting a job because mechanics are needed everywhere.

Before I wanted to become an Auto Mechanic Technician, I knew a few things already. For example, they make good money in this field. Also that their physical environment is around a lot of machinery. Next I wanted to find out what the working conditions were like. The salary and education to make sure my degree I’ll receive would help me in this field. By using books, the Internet, and a personal interview, I discovered that being an Auto Mechanic was a career choice for me.

I currently working as a Level 3 Military Vehicle Mechanic in the Royal Marines, and have experience performing general maintenance to keep the machines functioning properly. It is for this reason that I wish to pursue a Masters course in Aerospace Engineering in the “Aerospace Structures and Materials track” from Delft University of Technology.
