I have made my all of life decisions which included the decision of my education, career, which house to buy, which car to buy, and where to go for my vacation. It was a new experience which made me look at my future differently, obviously if I could go back I would change my career. I cannot see myself living this life, and it will be hard to obtain this lifestyle. I will not pursue this lifestyle instead I would change it. After taking this class it has changed my outlook on my future and I have learned lots of surprising things. This class has taught what life could be for some of us and that there will be lots of pleasure and painful moments.
If I could go back and work on this final project again, the thing I would change would be my career. The career I chose was to become an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon), at the moment when we had to choose our career, the first career that came to my mind was an ophthalmologist. I would like to change my career to another medical profession rather than being an ophthalmologist.

Depending on what my career may be in the medical profession, it will determine where I live and that may not be in Voorhees. I don’t see myself being an ophthalmologist, I’d rather be another specialist in the medical profession. I also don’t see myself working in Marlton, I see myself working at Cooper in Camden. My lifestyle depends on my career because it will determine my income which affects what type of house and car I can afford. All of these aspects determine my lifestyle, so I do not see myself living the lifestyle I had chosen in
Being in this class gave me insight on the way that I learn. I’ve had my share of jobs along with schooling and various other learning experiences. Some good, some bad but I can honestly say that I never noticed the pattern on how I learn. Now I know I learn more by being more of a hands on person. Also utilizing my thinking and problem solving skills has helped with my growth. I also found it important to use my reflective observation too. Mostly combining different learning styles have helped me in life to understand the way I learn and the benefits that could come if I use my strengths to further my ambitions.
If I were to describe this course to a friend I would say this class is more than what anyone expects and is extremely eye-opening. It is not like a normal studies class, where it has boring content. It has content that is insightful and allows you to really think about the issues at hand. I would encourage a friend to take it because it is not only a fun class but very informative. I would prepare them for the reality of this class. This class does not just touch the surface of issues we have in society, but it goes much deeper.
For my Health Science 1 class we were instructed to choose 3 different careers. The careers to be chosen were a health care career, a career of disinterest, and a career we would like to pursue. I aspire to be a Cardiovascular Perfusionist because it would feel great to be able to prevent someone from dying pre- maturely. I dislike the real estate field because they don't make much money and they do entirely too much work for not much profit. I choose Neurology as my health care career because I like learning about the brain, how it works and how and why people get mental disorders.
Introduction: It seemed so far away, and all of a sudden I had to make the decision. A decision that would change the rest of my life. From the time I was little I knew I wanted to go to college, and here I am. I have always had the desire to continue my education and gain many experiences after I graduated from high school. I didn’t ever thing twice about continuing my education
Before taking this course I was really excited about what I am going to learn. And I was right! This course is not only interesting but it is also helpful. I have learned that the grade I am having right now is the reflection of my try throughout the entire semester.
Their medical school is the leading medical school in the United States. I will need to earn an MD degree in order to apply for a General Practitioner.
I was going into the class scared because I have never took a women’s study course before, and it was my first semester at Texas Woman's University. I love this class and it has shown me a lot about women and about my own health. Some of the topic or video we have to watch open my eyes that our health care system is in terrible shape. I did not think that I would get the blogging right away, but I did and now I love it. I love the topics we cove and the book teaches me things that I never image before. This class help me focus on my health and show me the choice I have to make for the future to live a long and successful live.
This was what influened me a lot the philosophy, from any other electives course and general education courses because, I understood the real philosophy of life. All other courses, I learned alot, but somehow, this connected me and my life. These courses are really helpful in my daily life’s and I have used my skills and tact knowledge that I got from this program.
I personally have enjoyed this course. I was very nervous the first few months trying to make sure I didn’t miss any assignments and understood the reading material. I learn a lot about inequality, social injustice, social structure, social identity, and how to view things through a sociological perspective. This course has prepared me to observe various issue in society in a whole different way. We must educate ourselves about our history to know the differences, if not we will become a product of our environment. Therefore, “it’s easy to slide into the belief that things have always been the way we’ve known them to be” (Rosenblum & Travis, 2012, P.503).
At first I had no idea of what to expect of this course Human Diversity. After all, taking the course has been very beneficial to me and my future. Human Diversity has broadened my worldview (The overall perspective from which one sees and interrupt the world.) by allowing me to learn and gain more knowledge about the world I live in. Taking this course has had a wonderful impact on my future. Learning about diversity was a great idea and needed as well. As I finish the course up I can say I have learned and gotten the chance to experience a lot from this course.
I must admit that I have always looked at this type of course as being a complete waste of time. After taking the Learning Connections Inventory, I've discovered that I'm a Dynamic Learner according to the results of the questionnaire. It's totally shed some light on the how, what, when and why of my success and failures in my educational as well as personal and professional life.
My top two career clusters were health science and education and training.I do agree with the fact that I would do well in health science as it is one of my major goals to get some sort of doctorate degree. However I don´t very much agree with the education and training cluster.I don´t do well with education to others. It´s just not something I excel in.But I would like to have a career in medicine.According to the basic skills survey I am sorely lacking in mathematics and monitoring,And I would agree.I have always lacked in
Choosing a career starts with a dream. I am in pursuit to help people live healthier, longer lives.
Since being in this class, I can honestly say that I’ve learned a lot about myself as a person. Starting with journals, I’ve learned that 300 words is possible to do and it is not as hard as it sounds. Also, I learned that it is absolutely okay to not be perfect because nobody in this world
This course has affected my development as a student in many ways. It has taught me the importance of being stress free. I have learned that using the time and stress management tools and strategies has helped me get closer to my goals. Achieving my goals depends mainly on me and being less stressful. Time and stress management go hand to hand and one doesn’t work without the other. I learned to become better at time management. This has allowed me to get more important task done and put off the not so important ones. This course has prepared me very well for my academic success. It has taught me about my learning styles and what works best for me. Although I’m a visual/ auditory learner, I sometimes find myself wanting to take things hands on. These are some of the things that has affected me in my development as a student.
