Behind The Screen As the night got colder the phone buzzed notifying me I got a message as I open the laptop I see an unknown user who said, "I see you" as a town in complete confusion I can't bear but feel a sense of fear. I close the laptop and as I look up I see an unknown shadow in my living room and in that movement I knew it was the user on social media. This happened because as many other teens who don't put their accounts on private they are making it easier to those unknown users to find them based on their accounts. Teens think social media is a way to communicate with one another but do people really use it for those reasons. Many parents let their teens have social media accounts but do they really know what's going on? I think internet use for teens at a young age can be used in wrong ways that can later harm them in the future.
With social media growing and growing into a mass of accounts and profiles and different groups of people and clubs and websites and other things, what adolescents do on social media is something that many parents worry about. Not every parent is at ease with the fact that their child/teenager is out in open water; one young human being surrounded by millions of other human beings who are younger, the same age, or older than them. Social media poses a great danger to today’s children. It can affect many aspects of their lives.
Theres two problems children are facing and parents included. Children shouldn’t be allowed to be on social media at the age of six between fourteen. They shouldn’t be allowed to because young children don’t have the age because they won’t be able to know what’s going on social media. I think it’s a bad idea letting your children
Parents watch their children before they get themselves in trouble. On the other hand, children don’t deserve to be watched and questioned after every interaction on the internet. The uses of the internet for teens involve following celebrities or people they look up to. They mostly follow people they know. If not, they follow people who have the same interests as them.

Parents now days think they need a phone, for they can chat with their friends, or for emergency if they feel sick at school. Back then, when I was twelve I wasn’t allowed to have a social media, only because my parents would say I don’t know how to control a Snapchat, Instagram, nor a Facebook. Now days other moms would buy them an iPhone, the newest iPhone, they’ll make their account for every social media, some teenagers don’t know how to control it. They will add random people that appears and text them about their life. Have you ever seen a profile on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook, which has their whole information there?

Middle schoolers and high schoolers think social media is used to post selfies and obtain ridiculous amounts of followers or subscribers. Adults often use their social media to connect with distant friends and family, which
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a minor using social media? One word answer: trouble. However, not all minors plan on being disruptive and mischievous on social media, in fact social media happens to be a pretty big part of life for a minor. I believe minors should be allowed to have access social media because it is the best way to stay connected to the outside world.
About 80% of teenagers today, have social media and approximately 40% of social media is used for communicating. Facebook, twitter and instagram are all methods used to share your life with others. You’re able to post pictures and type statuses to inform your friends, followers, etc., what you have been up to and how you have been living your life.
