According to true colors I am a green. The twenty words that best describes me are analytical, calm, cool, investigative, strength, creative, strategic thinker, knowledgeable, visionary, enthusiastic, independent thinker, future focus, objective, tough minded, meaningless dialogue, emotional displays, subjective thinking, social function, challenging and flexible.

Ashford University is a instituion that holds itself with great prestige and respect. While attending I'll be able to advance my knowledge of teaching and children’s emotional, social, and physical needs to better help them grow. I feel it will push my career and academic goals in the right direction aswell as push my limits academically.

However, Gore does not just present the problem. He issues the challenge for the scientific community to seek ways to solve the problem, but he points out that these measures must be taken now. The problem is so severe that actions must be immediate in order to be effective. Comparing today’s environmental problems to the wartime challenges faced by the World War Two generation, Gore urges today’s citizens and scientists to rise to the occasion and be willing to sacrifice, if necessary, to solve the problems that society has created.

To me college is like the next step of life to adulthood; it is where you get a taste of the authentic world and learn how to adjust and manage on your own. In addition, it can be a place of magnification and polished skills within a community that strives for a prosperous life with an effulgent vocation. Thus, attending college was compulsory for me in order to reach future goals, and North Carolina A&T State University (NCAT) transpired to be just right for me. The distance was within range and they have an outstanding mechanical engineering program that I could solemnly benefit from. Overall, attending this university has opened many doors of opportunities that arrange with my personal and professional goals through their culture and community. Furthermore, I endeavor to put myself first and review my precedent accomplishments to strive for better while exposing myself to incipient challenges and obstacles.

In tenth grade, I moved four hours away from my friends and family to attend a public, residential high school for the arts: the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH). The school, open to South Carolina students upon audition, offers intense arts study with strong academic classes. Each teacher is passionate about the subjects and students they teach, and every student is devoted to their studies because they truly want to be at school. Despite the intense demands from my academic and arts teachers, I was excited by the level of commitment from both students and faculty and the liberal arts approach to education. Since I started community college I’ve heard several dozen cases of people changing their major, changing their transfer college, or just changing their mind. I’m not likely to do any of that, I choose to use my time in high school deciding what I wanted to do and so far I am sticking to it without a doubt in my mind. I chose to go to community college, earn my Associate's in Business Administration, and transfer to James Madison University in the fall of 2018, graduate in 2020 with my Bachelor’s. I intend to get my Master’s either right after my Bachelor’s or within a few years of my career. I hope to have a job leaving JMU, my first accounting job of my career. I decided to major in accounting for a plethora of reasons, but not what most people expect.

Located in Northern California, near Palo Alto, Stanford University is a medium sized, private university with 16,000 students. It is often referred to as the “Ivy League of the West.” As the most selective college in the United States, Stanford accepts only 4.8% of the approximately 44,000 applicants, carefully selecting applicants that have the potential to be leaders in the future. Leaders such as John F. Kennedy (US President), Larry Page & Sergey Brin (co-founders of Google), and Elon Musk (Entrepreneur - best known for Tesla motors) are well known alumni of Stanford who have become extremely successful in their respective fields. When applying to Stanford one should consider the admissions criteria, tuition, and academic majors. Also, it is important to have academic support, understand the college’s demographics, and familiarize oneself with campus life.

My earliest memories are that of reading interesting books because I love to read and do my science whiz experiments. Before entering into the application process for Boston University, I completed a review of my goals around my career. In applying for a certificate in Data Analytics. Currently I am the lead of a research project, which will determine strategic direction for my organization. During this project, I utilized many of my marketing skills, specifically qualitative and market research based on consumer use and need around our service and product line. My role has provided the opportunity to gather data, manipulate it to tell a story, recognize trends, and change direction where needed.
