The city has four basketball courts, four tennis courts, one playground, and one park. Each are almost always filled with people trying to be active. The city also has a baseball stadium, called DeShay Stadium. Bevopolis is in the process of being more futuristic by slowly getting rid of their coal power plants that produce large amounts of air pollution for solar power plants that release little to no pollution. They also chose to put in a natural gas power plant that is going to be working for a short amount of time until they think another solar power plant is going to better them. With Bevopolis choosing to have those power plants and not the two old coal ones, their pollution rate went down fast. Altogether, Bevopolis is a nice place to live. The people of the city are safe and healthy. The younger people of the city are getting the best education possible by top of the line teachers. Their land value is continuing to grow better and better. The environment is doing great since they are using the solar power plant. The only thing that could be negative about Bevopolis is their traffic problem they seem to run into frequently because of people trying to get to and from school and work. So, if you’re searching for a new place to live, Bevopolis would be

Valley Forge was George Washington’s winter camp in the years 1777-78. It was a harsh and cold time for the Colonists troops then, and many were considering leaving the Continental Army or deserting. Many died but most of the troops survived the cold winter. They trained and drilled to become better soldiers. If I were a soldier at Valley Forge, I would choose to stay. One reason I would stay is that less than half the soldiers died or got sick in Valley Forge according to Estimates of Illness and Death. This means that your survival rate at Valley Forge was over 50%. Usually, that’s enough to keep me somewhere. So that’s one reason I would stay at Valley Forge. Another reason I would choose to stay at Valley Forge is that according to Doctor
The Spanish-American war of 1898, although short in duration, effected policy in the United States for years to come. As part of the Treaty of Paris, the United States acquired Puerto Rico and the Pacific island of Guam while Spain granted independence to Cuba (Divine 694). The United States demanded the Philippines as a condition of peace and quickly attempted to annex the islands (Pearson 19). This led to the Philippine-American War which lasted three years and claimed many lives on both sides.
It has been 60 years since we have last record the events in the Nacirema culture and now researches today are baffled by the culture of the young Nacirema children. For example these young are spending day and night with their noses in these light boxes. Day after day, night after night these children love to stare at these hand size light boxes. We don’t exactly know what’s so entertaining about the light or the box, but we see them laugh, smile, cry, and get angry while looking into the light boxes. The older generation of the Nacirema indicates a great display of disapproval of them, but hypocritically many of them spend almost just as much time viewing into the light boxes as well.

In contrast to Jefferson, Bechdel does not explicitly list historical figures who promoted and worked for gay rights, but rather views her own life as teetering alongside and intermingling with national history, sometimes shaping it or welcoming its subtle influences into her life. For example, Bechdel describes how she has a “hallucinogenic memory of a throbbing welter of people in a large circle”—probably in Washington Square Park, where the Stonewall Riots had just occurred; she speculates on whether “a lingering vibration, a quantum particle of rebellion” might still have “hung in the humectant air” (Bechdel 104). Bechdel may not have been there for the riots or cited them as an active force in her self-realization, but these riots remind her of the reality of the newly born and
In Valley Forge there is a big war for the capitol. I usually have no shoes but this time I am staying. It is cold and no meat. No Meat! No Meat! (Waldo,151). With the congress supporting and the army needing healthy men would you have quit? I would have stayed.
After the arrival of the Europeans, the Beothuk, who were typically coastal dwelling bands, were forced to move further inland in Newfoundland. This change in their natural environment affected their economic production. No longer able to have easy access to the coast and the food sources it provided, the Beothuk needed to increase their hunting of land mammals. Instead of fishing from their canoes, the Beothuk would create "deer fences" which would funnel the herding caribou, making them easier targets to use their bow and arrows. This change in their economic production also affected their demography. Having to adapt their way of gaining sustenance, their population began to decrease as a result. Without the variety and ease that coastal

The pollution is leaving our footprint rate out of control! Knowing that they have gotten rid of all the coal generators is a big reduction of the ecological footprint. Without the generators burning off the coal, the pollution will stay at a lower rate causing the footprint to decrease. It is more sustainable now than before because our city doesn't have to worry about trying to maintain the pollution levels as much as we used to and we can focus on more of the major projects.
