My future goals have changed over time. In seventh grade I had a goal of becoming a great soccer player. That changed the following school year when I finally hit a big growth spurt. When the growth spurt happened, it started it aggravate the extra growth bone in my foot. When we found out that I had an extra growth bone in my foot, I wasn’t allowed to do much because of the pain it was causing me at the time. I made a choice not to do soccer because you kick the ball with your foot all the time so I thought what else could I do to keep in shape. I was like wait I should play football I would be great at that so I start telling my dad and he turned his head and gave a little chuckle then turned back and said the kids that play football are
All goals have a history. Sometimes goals come forth in a moment of epiphany; other times, goals reveal themselves gradually and are like a quiet whisper leading the way. My goals fall into the whisper category. Ask young children what they want to become when they grow up and you will often receive a lofty, and sometimes unrealistic, answer. Responses include football player, movie star, super hero, astronaut, fairy princess, and everything in between. I distinctly recall telling people that I wanted to be an ambassador. Where I got that, I don’t know. I knew nothing about the job except that an ambassador helped people learn to get along. As I grew older, my understanding of career choices grew along with me and I placed
I have many ideas for my future. I want to graduate high school with at least a 4.0 gpa. After that I plan to go to college and become either a pediatrician or a crime scene investigator. I hope to get married and have kids. With every goal that comes I hope to accomplish them.
On a personal level I would like to get better at basketball as well as baseball. In three years i see myself being a little bit more involved in technology and graphic design. Sooner or later like every kid I will turn 18 wich mean time for a job i'm going to go into it strong I think i am going to work at Old Navy. I hopefully will be able to stay in this job as long as possible to make as much money as I can. These goals are important to me because it will make me feel good as a person. It is a good start as a teen to make money. School has prepared me because I will pick the right classes to assist me in my career.
My hopes and dreams are that I want to play in the NFL, and have straight A’s this school year. Some of my favorite sports are football, softball,
My future goals are based on my mom. My mom became an adult when she was 14 after having me. Being a teen parent was tough for her. She moved to Michigan with my father and left her family in Chicago. She had to drop out in the eighth grade as well so that I may grow up in a better environment.
Growing up we all have dream jobs that often change as we become older. For me, that dream job has not changed. My dream job is to become an artist. When I was younger I did not know what kind of artist I desired to be. I just knew I wanted to do something in the world of art. Over the years, my dream has become more evolved. As of now my dream job is to be a Graphic Designer. Everyone has dreams or goals. Some people reach them before others it just takes time. There is no set time limit to reach your goals. We can make our dreams a reality if we try. During a T-ball game, I was on the pitcher’s mound. From that moment I knew that I wanted to learn how to pitch. When I moved onto softball I was able to make that dream a reality. My coach taught me how to pitch and I have been pitching ever since. It took many hours of practice and dedication to be where I am now, but it was worth it. Everyone should follow their dreams and not let others tell them otherwise. I did not let anyone stop me from becoming a pitcher, nor tell me I should give up on my
At the age of seven my IDEAL goal was to be able to be successful in life and to go into the field
There are a lot of things I want to accomplish before my high school career has finished. Academic wise, I would want to be able to say I got honours all four years. Also, I want to at least get one individual school award. In terms of sports, I want to win a gold medal at OFSAA for Track and Field. I want to run sub 21 seconds in the 200m and sub 46 seconds in the 400m by the end of my senior year. I would want at least one athlete of the year award under my belt as well. I would want to experience at least 3 more new countries and work at least 1 job by 2020. I don’t know for sure what I want to do when I grow up, but I am very intrigued to be a personal trainer or fitness trainer. I have a passion for sports and healthy/ active living,
My future goals are to graduate high school, and swear into the United States Navy, go to basic, and when I complete basic, I will begin college to become a Radiologist. I will achieve these goals by setting smaller goals to work on achieving the higher, long term goals. I will also have my aunt to help me along the way, guiding me through the whole process. i can do anything I set my mind
My career goal in life is to become a sports coach. Coaching is teaching a sport you know a lot about either from experience or something you have studied for a while. I chose this career because I am very zealous about sports. I watch and discuss them every chance I can. Every Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday I watch football, basketball, tennis, hockey, golf, soccer, etc. I do this to understand the education or training requirements, skills or talents needed, salary and benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this lucid decision.
In fact, the amount of goals one person has is probably a long list and certainly too long to list in an essay but, I can tell about a few of my biggest goals for the future. Before I was born,
I want to play football and become a professional athlete. I plan to achieve this goal in about five to ten years. It will take that long because I will have to be scouted and to be scouted you have to be good. As long as I get recognized by scouts I will become a professional athlete. I want to play football in high school and most likely will which is when I’ll be recognized as a great football player. I’ll have to keep my grades up and not get in trouble if I want to succeed in my goal.
20 month growth spurt causes forming of synapses that develop goal directed planning (moves a chair to climb to reach an object) (Boyd, 2013, 83)
All your life you’ve dreamed big, but would your dream turn into reality? Imagine someone other than yourself putting it in your head what you're set out to be in life. Highschool football was everything to me. I've taken many sacrifices such as quitting my job; picking up unnecessary classes, and focusing on football it's self instead of other important responsibilities. These three things set me back, regrettably I became an athlete instead of a student athlete. With no desire to do anything else in life I always wondered when this is over what's next?
When I was 12 years old, people would always ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up and my answer was always the same; I want to be a professional football player. I was convinced at that age that was what I wanted to be so I trained extremely hard to make that dream come true. I ran extra after practice and worked on speed and agility drills at home to hone my skills. However, when I entered high school, my dream had changed. I no longer enjoyed football and I worried about what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I have always been fascinated with technology and have been curious as to how they function so in my sophomore year of high school, I finally decided that I wanted to be a computer engineer and this time, I will do whatever it takes to make this dream come true.
